Armaan and Sid are both human in different ways. 😆
I like both of them. We seem to be living under the misconception that Armaan thinks of everyone's happiness. He is amazing, he is kind and he thinks of others.All those are true/ But it is wrong to say he always cares and Sid doesn't. Because when he reunited SR he didn't think of Sid. He thought of Riddhima's happiness. Which lied with Sid. he could care less if Sid was happy or not. Sid on the other hand does care.
When Sid was in pain I understood why. It wasn't because he felt Riddhima won't pick him. He just didn't want to feel used by the woman he loved. And he didn't want to feel betrayed because she kept reassuring him that she wanted to be with him. He " tried" to be selfless. But he wasn't prepared. The second she signed those papers reality dawned on him. And he lost cool. Sid is a kid. I won't call him immature because he is not. But he is still a kid. His journey with Riddhima forced him to grow up. Some traits were always part of Sid. He always thinks of others, he notices things silently, and he might not be able to follow through with his plan but he has good intentions and he makes wise decisions. When he first got married to Riddhima he thought about her, even if it meant turning himself into a beast he thought of her. He thought of her parents, his parents, his friends. During triangle he thought of both Armaan, Riddhima and his Mom. Even now when Armaan is only thinking of himself, Riddhima is thinking of Armaan and Shilpa, and Shilpa is thinking about Armaan..he is the only person who watches all 3 of them.
Now Armaan is pain and I understand that too. It must kill him to finally realize what living without Riddhima means. I know many might wonder why is he reacting now when he made the decision quite a long time ago. First we need to remember the show drags. So what seems 2 weeks to us is often just 2 days. As Riddhima gets closer to Sid by the way she get farther away from him. It's hard. The " ONLY" and this really is the only problem I have right now. That is the fact that he is acting like a brat and disrespecting the people who care for him. I get it. He doesn't want to move on, he wants to sulk. Then he can go away from everyone and sulk till he gets better. What are people suppose to do sit and around and watch him suffer? Obviously if they care they will butt in. I wish he wouldn't be mean to others.
