Thanks Harshita. Yeah I wanted to move the story forward and not keep it stagnant at the same place like the DMG serial is doing so no misunderstandings. Now you have to see what happens next. I hope you are enjoying the story so far.

Thanks Uppaas. I am really happy that you do follow my OS but please do comment on the parts if you like them. It feels a lot good to see comments from old friends.

SR OS - Unknown bonds of Love part 8

Recap:- Sid and Shilpa both explain the truth of the relationship to Riddhima who refuses to believe them. Riddhima runs away from there leaving a dejected Sid and Shilpa staring at her.

Ab aage:-

Sid and Shilpa feel very disappointed to see that Riddhima is not accepting the truth.More than Shilpa it was Sid who was feeling bad. He was feeling bad for Shilpa who had such a horrible past and now to see that her only living relative, her sister refusing to accept the truth. He felt that he had to be there for Shilpa, his friend and now his sister-in-law.

Sid(turning to Shilpa):- Don't worry Shilpa. I know Riddhima too well. She takes time to accept the truth but she will come around. She has to come around for you.

Shilpa(smiling slightly at the encouraging words from Sid):- Yeah Sid. I hope Riddhima Di accepts me.

Sid:- Well I don't know when Riddhima will accept you but I have accepted you as my sister-in-law. So don't you dare feel lonely ever again. Okay. From now on you are my saali sahiba and I really hate tears in your eyes. So take care saali sahiba. Make sure your Jiju doesn't catch you crying silently.

Shilpa is relieved to hear Sid talking. It was as if a heavy weight has been lifted of her chest. The acceptance of Sid gave a new hope to Shilpa. For a person who always longed to have the comfort of dad and mom and a family around her, the acceptance of Sid as her jiju gave her great happiness, one which she could never imagine was destined for her. Shilpa always shared good rapport with Sid but now she felt like she got an elder brother whom she never had in her life.

Shilpa(with tears of gratitude in her eyes):- Sid thanks a lot. Thanks a lot for being with me. You don't know what this means to me ......

Sid(wiping Shilpa's tears tenderly):- Phir se, Come on just now your Jiju ordered you to not cry and kamal hai you are crying the very next instant. Now this won't help me. Do you get it.

Shilpa:- No Sid, Sorry Jiju. I am happy and these are tears of gratitude.

Sid:- I give up. I have never understood you girls. Understanding Riddhima was an enigma and now that you are her sister, I don't want to understand you. Okay then shall we go home. I shall drop you at your house and go from there.

Sid and Shilpa both leave from there. Riddhima meanwhile reaches home alone and dashes to the bedroom. She just can't believe what Sid and Shilpa were trying to tell her.

Riddhima(thinking):- How can I be Shilpa's sister. No that is not possible. I know my Dad is not Dr.Shashank but I don't believe that Shilpa can be my sister. Come on there is no way we even resemble each other then how can she be my sister. Even if she is my sister I can never forgive the man who caused my mother harm and
who dumped her. I will never accept that Shilpa is my sister. Never.

Thinking this and crying a lot Riddhima falls asleep on the bed. Sid reaches home a good 1 hr after that and comes to their bedroom. He sees Riddhima sleeping on the bed. The tears that Riddhima has shed have dried up leaving marks on her makeup.

Sid(sitting near Riddhima thinking):- I know Riddhima, You are hurt and you don't want to accept the truth. But I know you and you are much stronger than this. Come on Riddhima be the woman I know you can be.

Saying this Sid gets up from there and changes into his PJs and goes to sleep.

The next morning Riddhima wakes up from a terrible headache. Whole night her sleep was getting disturbed by the various nightmares and the crying in the night also didn't help. She wakes up as if she had an hangover and goes and vomits in the bathroom. Riddhima decides to take a day off and be at home. To tell the truth she just wanted to avoid Shilpa today in the hospital.

Riddhima comes to Sid who was having his breakfast. She knew that she can't lie with Sid but still she was not ready to face Shilpa.

Riddhima:- Sid I am not feeling well today. I want to be at home.

Sid(looks at her in concern):- Why Riddhima. What happened. Why are you not feeling well. Anything wrong.

Riddhima(not sure how to phrase it):- Oh it is nothing. Just that I couldn't sleep properly yesterday night. So I just want to rest at house.

Sid just gives a disappointed glance at Riddhima. He knew that it would take Riddhima time to accept the truth but he expected her to face the situation rather than running away from it.

Sid(with a lot of disappointment in his voice):- I understand Riddhima. You need time for yourself. You want to run away from the situation and you feel that if you don't talk to or see Shilpa everything will be fine in your dream world. Come on Riddhima you should know better than that. Just by closing your eyes the truth can't be changed. I expected you to be lot more braver than this Riddhima.

Riddhima(getting angry):- What do you mean by that Sid. What do you want me to do. Should I just go and hug Shilpa and say "hey I am your Di". Huh. What should I do in the situation. Tell me Sid, Tell me.

Sid:- Riddhima why are you only thinking about yourself. I know you are hurt in the situation but atleast you got the love of Dr.Shashank who has never let you feel that you were adopted. Think of Shilpa. She lost both her parents and she is now an orphan. Is it wrong for her to wish that you accept her as her sister. Is it wrong for her to dream of a happy family where she is accepted. I just wish you could think about others too and not only about yourself.

Riddhima:- No Sid. I can't never forgive the person who hurt my mom. I can never forgive Shilpa's Dad for what he did to my mom and so I can't never accept Shilpa as my sister.

Sid:- Riddhima your hate aganist Shilpa is unjustified. Why are you punishing Shilpa for something that her dad did. She never was a part of it. And if it is of any comfort the person who hurt your mom never was at peace all his life and died a guilt ridden death. If you keep on thinking about the wrongs he did you will never get peace yourself too. Think about it. I have to go to hospital and I will see you in the night. Think about everything and I hope you will accept the truth.Not for my sake or Shilpa's sake but for your sake.

Saying that Sid gives a good bye kiss to Riddhima and leaves for hospital, leaving a thinking Riddhima behind.

I loved it. How Sid tried to convince Riddhima to accept Shilpa without being too harsh. It was adorable how Sid comforted Shilpa. ❤️
