I didn't find today's episode all that great. Actually for me it was a filler, but I guess SR fans may have enjoyed it since it contained alot of their scenes.
Nonetheless the episode made me realize how everyone (and by that I mean the current leads: Armaan, Shilpa, and Sid) are craving for Ridhima's love.
Ok firstly Armaan, because well he's had the longest relationship. Since he fell in love with her for the first time, Armaan just wants Riddhima's love. And especially after he came back, and he was all alone. Anyhow the dreadful track happened and she "implicitly" chose Sid, and Armaan has chosen to move on. But still his only love till now has been Riddhima and he still loves her even though he's chosen to move on.
Secondly Sid aka the hubby who has yet to have a normal husband-wife relationship with his wife. Ever since Riddhima decided to cancel the divorce and stay with Sid, he just wants to be with her but for some unknown reason she keeps brushing him off. This guy has even gotten loads of help from Armaan, Shilpa, and the rest of the gang but still his so called wife keeps ignoring him and yelling at him. Poor guy even bought a ring. Nowadays I feel really bad for him since she keeps reprimanding him in front of others, like he's a school kid whose been caught in some naughty act when he's just trying to get close to her.
Thirdly, the new entrant: Shilpa. We know she's Riddhima's younger sister (today's Riddhima didi slip was another hint) and from the looks of today's episode, her sole reason for joining Sanjeevani appears to be Riddhima. It seems she just wanted to connect with her older sister, and after seeing her very cute, vulnerable expressions she craves for her love as well.
Currently we have 4 protagonists in DMG, and with the current situation 3 of them crave the love of only one of them: the ice queen of DMG aka Riddhima. Will she ever thaw? Better yet will she ever stop yelling??? Although nowadays I seriously wonder why in the world do all these people crave for her love? What exactly do they see in her? Ah well Riddhima wasn't always this annoying.
After watching the precap, I'm sure Sid will soon get her love...at least I hope so for Sid's sake and sorta for ArSh's sake.
Armaan won't ever get that love again....although I'm sure the friendship will remain, so we'll have the "platonic" friendship love.
Shilpa: Ahh well she's gonna get yelled at alot more times before she gets any love or care from Riddhima. So for Shilpa it's a long road ahead, which means another painful, rona dhona track for us viewers.
