Obviously no one will enjoy the crying, cursing in the forum. I'm not loving that. But I dnt have any sympathies with one particular set of ppl whom I've termed as BAD.
And again... ppl who LIKE n LOVE KSG.. are not wrong ... BUT those who defend his wrong deeds and then curse us for being against him are wrong in my eyes ... For that particular set of ppl ... I always write ... that they just wanna drool over KSG.. thats it.
Maybe you're not a drooler.. rest of them are. Now I guess you wont have any doubts about the tern "rest" here.
KSG played Armaan for 3 years .. and Females dint... but this was the case even when Shilpa left... everyone just used to care about KSG at that time too... C'mon this is just an excuse.. and everyone knows that. And if Armaan is the Heart of DMG.. then Riddhima is the Soul of DMG .. how can they let the Soul die? .. the character Riddhima was 3 years old right? You probably again missed some of the post.. where someone asked.. for whom you're back to DMG ... and everyones answer was "KSG" not Armaan... not Riddhima. There were MANY not FEW members in that post.
And yes. I do respect your opinion.. but I may not agree to some of the points.
P.S: Even I love Armaan and Riddhima. But that does not mean I cannot like Sid n Riddhima. Just coz I liked SR ppl assumed that I hate AR.. and I never bothered to correct them. I love Shilpa .. I Liked Suku .. and I'm not so fond of Jenny. But still I may like all of them and their characters .. But no one understood this point till date except SR fans.
This is why I always say .. I like both AR n SR .. But when it comes to their fans.. I only love SR fans.
Hmm...I didn't think my post was that convoluted, but my apologies if I messed up. In a nutshell, I meant what you just said in your reply to Hannah. People can change their decisions. Reasons can cover anything from hypocrisy to simple humanness. And I said very clearly that the generalisation point is meant for those who might pounce on you because of it. Because the line does get blurred in your post, the way you've written in out. I never said you're making generalisations. 😊
As for having faced what you term "bad" fans..oh, I've faced them all right. And that spans over AR as well as SR fans. I've been there.
KSG...I was talking about Armaan. KSG the actor, not KSG the person. I think his personal life should stay out of the forum. Yes, people do defend his deeds, whatever they may really be, and some do it just to drool over him. I don't agree with it at all, but so be it. You know where I stand on that issue, so I will not elaborate here. We've agreed to disagree on that one, right?
And as for people being back to DMG because of KSG, a part of that follows what I said in my first post. That for many of us KSG is Armaan. Because, well, he is. Has been, for three years. And one cannot look at a character alone, without the actor playing it. The same holds good for Riddhima too, absolutely. And in keeping with that, the character underwent changes to suit every actor who played it. That's a fact. I've been an AR fan right from the beginning of the show. And for me at the time, AR were Karan and Shilpa. That's how I got to know them and fell in love with them. When Shilpa left, it was a blow, I'll admit it, even to me. Because at the time, she was the only Riddhima I knew. But I got over it, because Armaan and Riddhima stayed together. That's when I realised that that's what mattered most to me. Way more than KaSh or KaSu, and later KaJen.
Also, I don't really see how the presence of Many and not a Few fans on that topic is relevant here. I'm a little confused about that part of your post, Rikz. We all know that alot of people watch DMG only for KSG: droolers, bashers and everything in between. I never denied that, so why that emphasis? 😳
And the 'hate' part applies to me too. I don't hate any pair. I love one pair, and that's the extent of my perception of the show. I don't think much about any other couple. Seeing Riddhima with someone other than Armaan hurts. But I still don't hate anybody. I quite like Sid, for instance. But still, what remains the most important thing, perhaps the only important thing to me, is that I love AR. That's all there is to it. I also concur on Riddhima. I liked Shilpa, liked Sukirti, and love Jen. And I like something about each of the facets of Riddhima they represented. So far, my AR fan friends have understood that quite well.
