Shashank, you DA man. 😎

Sometimes when children are confused, and cannot foresee their future, then intervention MUST occur. Riddhima's weeping and oscillation at the moment will make her life more miserable, and she will not achieve two cents, thus the re introduction of the father to show the path to the daughter is essential. Riddhima is in a sacred bond, and currently there's miscommunication between Siddhanth - Riddhima, thus Shashank wants them to stay in their relationship for a few more months until they take upon a decision. Why shall they be forced to divorce, and why shall they take upon hasty decisions? Marriages are always meant to be worked out, but if in the end all fails, then any step should be taken forward, the same shall happen here. Riddhima has garnered sentiments for Siddhanth and Siddhanth is her silent lover, however both are unable to convey that to each other unfortunately due to the circumstances.

Shasank is just the catalyst here, and he isn't forcing his daughter to be under an unsatisfying relationship. Riddhima needs a chance to realize what her marriage may have in store for her, thus, Shashank is there to guide her. If of course she wants to walk out of the marriage in the future, she can, but she'll have no regrets for her marriage and the relationship with Siddhanth she shared.

Shashank is the catalyst here, and get ready to witness the greatest love affair post marriage. đŸ„ł

Thanks for making this post.

Shankypanks is doing what any father would do. If tomorrow, my daughter and son-in-law are taking a divorce just because they are cuckoo in the head and are divorcing each-other for all the wrong reasons , I am not going to stand their cuckoo-pana. I am going to try and do what I can to save the marriage and those children's future.

Only fools walk out of marriages on impulse. A MARRIAGE HAS TO BE WORKED OUT. Let's get real.

Ever heard of " working things out"?
SR are divorcing each-other for all the wrong reasons and am glad Shankypanks is cooling their temperatures and making them see reason.

Bingo.

Why should SR be divorcing each-other? Just because they love each-other but don't know how the other one feels? Difficult phases in relationships are meant to be worked out. Sab log bhaag bhaag kar divorce lene nahiin pahonch jaate. If people think that marriage between like minds is a flimsy joke, then, they need to relook at themselves.

Sid is a great guy and he loves Riddhima. Riddhima wants to be with Sid and this marriage is important to her. Then , why not give this marraige a chance?

totally second ya Guddi!

Sid and Riddhima both needed Shashank now.....not only because he is Riddhima's dad but also because he was the one who had put forth the idea of getting them together and their marriage!

He's certainly not a "bad" father....it's always Riddhima who makes him look "bad" to us all because of her tendency to "blame" others...be it her father, Armaan or Siddhant! she just can't get over thinking and crying about herself, her woes, her pains, her heartbreaks....oh! gimme a break will ya!

Neither Armaan has made her life the way she has right now...nor has Sid made her life miserable!

she is the sole person responsible for her own pains! She can't blame others for her indecisiveness! Everything just doesn't have to revolve around her so called "trials and tribulations"! Sid and Armaan have suffered equally as she has...and actually even more...because they have lost their own "happy" self...they have gone numb and lonely and they can't even cry as much as she does!

Shashank has to intervene...he has to intervene to save 3 lives...to show them the right way out!

Well-said. Sid and Armaan are not partying either. Shankypanks has learnt by now how his daughter is. Shanky is not forcing Sid down Riddzie's throat. He is just asking her and Sid to be sensible and give their marriage a chance . That is what parents usually do when their childrenm have cuckoo troubles in their marriages. I don't remember any parent jumping up and down in happiness when their children wanted a divorce.

True that Poco! Divorce is not a piece of cake that you sign those papers and walaaa! you're a free birdie and get to go back to being happy! it involves a lot of emotional turmoil BUT if the wedding was on contract...a signed contract, then it might not be difficult to sign those papers and get separated.....however that is NOT the case here, is it now?

SR wedding was not a contract......they both agreed to it and they were starting to work it out....they were gradually accepting their relationship and moving forward.

Lil misunderstandings always happen between couples, don't they? do they all end up playing "sign the papers" game? No!

when couples can seek help from a marriage counselor ..a third person..total stranger then why can't Shashank mediate this out?

Anyhow the court won't approve of the divorce ....they always give a 6 month time period to rethink everything.

Absolutely. 👏

Even the court would tell SR to work out their marriage in 6 months and put them under a marriage counselor. I am shocked at the kids here and their ideas on marriage. But i would prefer not being judgmental.

Shankypanks is doing what any parent would do.
