and that's why AR and SR end up fighting/bashing each other for each group has their own reasons...

I'm n hardcore AR fan n have only watched this show for the last 2.5 yrs for them.

But I'm also a realist and believe in looking at things logically. My analysis is not because I'm an AR fan. Had I been a SR fan my common sense n logic would still tell me that it will be AR in the end.

All things said n done I really really hope that Cv's don't defy common sense now as they have done in the past n they learn from their mistakes and unite AR soon.

What you are saying may be true.......But even the Track with the New Interns or Riddhima becoming a strict Doc....or The Sidma Marriage for a matter of fact hasn't done any good to the Show......And the CV's had to get Armaan's Character that is KSG back in to the Pic......And the results are known to all.....

ya the result is that it has still not come up to the standards of mjht, jpsya.....so wid da kind of soap dmg has bcome y ksg even if srk comes nothing incredible is gonna happen..becuase of bad script, lack of storyline n inconsistent characterization....so AR or SR will all depend on the cv s perception of what ideally the story should be like...n nothing whatsoever to do wid trps

Completely agree with you. It is true and we know it that they don't care for the fans .....they only care for whatever gets them the trp. If they haven't learned the lesson once then they will only be destroying their show themselves.

What riddhima really thinks and what she ends up doing are two different things. Her thoughts from yesterday completely differ from what came out of her mouth today. You are right it is obvious she is choosing to stay with sid only because of the marriage obligation.

One question.. are the top 100 shows in the TRP list the only shows running on air. Are all the shows who don't make it to that list pulled off air. There are almost 100 channels each having say atleast 10 shows which makes it a total of 1000 shows on TV on an avg. Of this only 100 shows are on that list. (Assuming they are 100 unique shows and not multiple counts of the same show). Does that mean all the remaing 900 shows are running in loses according to ur logic.

DMG is niche show targeting specifically urban youth. The percentage of population of this urban youth is so much smaller when compared to the other family oriented shows who target all the ppl in India including the villages. Look at the other shows targetting the same segment MTV Roadies, Splitsvilla, MJHT, etc. Are all these shows on the top 100 consistenty too. If they are not then are u going to call them failures too.

TRPs are about relativity. Every show starts of fwith high TRPs but as the story progresses and new shows keep coming in the viewership is bound to get diluted.

So the incentive to get AR is NOT that they will become the no. 1 show across all channels or will reach top 100 but that their TRPs will increase considerably from what they were during their absence. (According to reports it HAS INCREASED and DMG is the NO.1 show in Star One now).

Any increase is better than decreasing TRPs na?

The day CV's make a decision and by that I mean Ridz makes a decision on the show, one set of viewers will be dissapointed and might leave the show for good. The greedy CV's are trying their best (and we know what their "best" is) to delay this scenario so that they can enjoy the benefits of both the fans for as long as possible.

But in doing this they have completely ruined the whatever little bit of storyline potential they had. They have made such a big mess of the track which could have had poyential if handled properly.

I hope they get out of this rut soon otherwise they will end up losing whatever viewers thay have now.

I completely agree with you. They really are killing their own show. Worst point is they still dont have a clear view of where the show should be and are still experimenting around with the story. I mean they know AR is popular but they wanna keep SR together (to keep their fans) coz they know that most of the AR fans will stick as long as KSG is there or a simple hope of AR reunion would do. And u right they are killing their potential to have a proper storyline in future which is just sad coz this show did have the potential to be a good youth oriented show however it has just been killed by various issues- change of actors, change of directors, a nonsense DMG 1 end and also no proper storyline and screenplay.

And may I conclude, If this continues to happen, they shall fall back on the ground again

I agree with u that DMG does have a bad storyline n inconsistent characterization. But the fact it baring the first few months it has always had this problem. DMG has never been about the story. It has always been about the characters and their chemistry (esp AR). It survived for 2 years without a proper story so wats so different now??

And i completely disagree with the highlighted part. There is NO IDEAL STORY for the CV's. For them the ideal story is whatever gets them TRPs. This is a fact which everyone needs to accept. That how business works. Its not social service we r talking about.
