they had her say all that to make people realize that SR are meant to be.....and that no matter what relationship one had earlier...or with whom, now the only thing that should matter and be given most importance is her marriage.


"once one woman's doli arrives in the house....she doesn't leave the place ..her husband's saath...till she is dead"---this was so meant to be towards the audience....hinting us and others that SR are the end game :)

I also thought Sid's mom was also telling the audience and Ridz what it means about marriage and how that is the truth now and forever, about time Ridz realises on what she should be with and who Getting married and being a married woman is such a big thing for girls esp an indian woman - no wonder Ridz is getting hurt by her MIL because what she says is the truth and i think sometimes Sid's mum opens her eyes to things and views that Ridz has closed off
