Wonder post Nitz , I just read it. Oh my my, I am so perplexed with Siddhanth and Riddhima's state at the moment, and it makes me frustrated to know that I'd have to wait for two more days to know the outcome of Holi. *sighs*
Aren't Sid-Riddz so raw and intense? I love this total unleash of vices and virtues. Very few relationships have that kind of a shade card and that is one major reason am attached to SR. Yeah, two days and a teaser promo will be out by tomorrow.
What hurts Siddhanth even more is that he's married to a lady who is not in love with him, and he believes she's taking advantage of him to keep others (her folks) content, and on top of that, lets all hail Siddhanth's best buds. Lol, not really. Their intent was pure, and the instigation by them was done solely for fetching Riddhima to the festive party, but on the contrary, now Siddhant's male ego somewhat is on the line, and he wants to make sure that he shows to the world he wears the 'pants' in the relationship (whatever bitter sweet relationship they share). Riddhima's state of her mind and her emotions are beyond Siddhanth's powers, but the dominant nature of the relationship is an aspect he can control, and he wants to make full use of it at the moment.
Yep, yep, yep. The dost gang has ended up rubbing such high quality salt into Sid's wounds that the hurt has moved from his heart and soul to his ego... it is kinda on the lines of saving your respect when the honour of your feelings is lost. And to make matters worse, SID IS DRUNK! Ughs!
Riddhima...eh...I don't know what to state regarding her. She's in a state of turmoil; that sums it up well I assume. In no way do I yet observe any subtle emotions which suggests she trusts or feels for Siddhanth. She's frightened. I would be too if a man behaves like Sid toward me in front of my family or friends. However, there's no doubt that she's responsible for upbringing the situation and now is the time to face upon the severe consequences, and we are aware that Siddhanth is not in his senses. Anger could that be compared to a drug or worse, as we human beings lose out our senses, and commit atrocious acts, but eventually we have a realization stage, and hopefully Sid will have one soon too. One another dimension that's bothering me is I'm unable to comprehend what Riddhima wants...from Siddhanth, the chaste marriage, and life? Is she ready to move ahead in her life and accept the present or will the future be lived only in terms of compromises? I realize Sid angst and pain because he's torn to know that his wife chooses death over trusting him, while he also believes that he has been cheated by her, however, Riddhima needs to shed light to us over her plight.
Very well-put, Zenzie. I am sure that Riddhima has a bent towards Sid or else her face and her eyes wouldn't have lit up at that slight glimmer of the loving Siddhanth yesterday at the pag-phera ritual. She sees her confidante in him and now when he has turned away , she doesn't know how to handle it. I really don't know what future Riddhima is looking at with Siddhanth... she needs to understand that she cannot be a mechanical wife to Siddhanth - she has to feel for him and until that happens, she should take her time and let Sid be as well.
The mirror breaking scene: My thoughts are that as he's walking back upstairs in such a disastrous state of mind after literally hurting the woman that 7 days back he proposed to, he suddenly comes across his himself thru the mirror. He's disgusted. He's disgusted because he has turned into a beast from man which makes him feel helpless, and then he views Riddhima in a broken state on the ground weeping. What would one do at that time? I would feel suffocated, and I'm sure he does too, thus the shattering of mirror signifies the chaos. Also maybe because he hurt Riddhima, he hurts himself...*shrugs*
Your take is an eye-opener. That is how i would like to see it as well. Sid is not getting any cheap thrills out of hurting Riddhima. It hurts him as well but he masks it behind his fury.
The very final scene of the episode shadowed innocence, terror, panic, and needless to add, but they both appeared dashing.
Didn't they look just perfect?😳
