Wow that was really amazingly written, I think the scene I found most significant was when he took her hand to take her to the mandap, because even though he was mad, it showed he will never let go off her hand even when circumstances are tough and the way he was wrapped around her when they were standing it showed he will always protect her.
I like the way he let her have her space, give her time to say goodbye but I am dying to see what happens tommorow I want to know what he says to Ridz or will he just ignore her!

I am glad you have a POV like that. I guess we all learn to find our own fairytale , no matter where life goes. And that is what i tried to translate here. AR were beautiful but at the same time a second chance at love and a new hope are equally moving and here Sid-Riddz make it happen.

@Poco:- I am not happy with the episode today and don't exactly agree with you. Neither the marriage was correct and neither am I too pleased with the episode today. First of all I wanted to see what makes Sid agree to the marriage after the left-right-centre blasting he gave to Riddhima on Friday. So here I was waiting for some logical thing to be shown today and what was shown? Shashank comes and asks Riddhima if she is having second thoughts about marriage. Arey koi ladke se toh pucho. It's like Shashank and Padma just want Riddhima married hook or crook. I am sorry but I am quite angry with Shanky and paddy. Being parents of Riddhima and knowing what all has happened in your daughter's life and now the marriage 2 days after a big fiasco in Hospital, how can they just ask Riddhima one single question and take her answer yes at the face value. Come on she is your girl for goodness sake. Prod her push her and ask her to answer you honestly if she is happy with the marriage. Can you not see that she is unhappy with the marriage. And as I have said before it is one thing to wish for your daughter to move forward in her life and it is entirely another to sacrifice some one else's life in the bargain. Fine Riddz's parents want her to move forward in her life but I don't see anyone concerned about Sid's life. After all Sid is going to marry her. If my daughter would have gone through what all Riddz has gone through then I would highly doubt that she would be happy with her husband in her married life and believe me I would be more concerned about my son-in-law's happiness than Shashank and Padma are shown here. Why should Sid pay for their mistakes. If Shashank accepted Armaan at first itself nothing of this magnitude would have happened in Riddz's life and I feel whatever happened afterwards with AR is solely Shanshank being at fault. Now he is doing another mistake and that is he is staking Sid's life and happiness for getting his daughter's sanity back. As a parent it is wrong and highly immoral to do it. And 2 mistakes never make it right be in math or in real life.

Sid I felt so bad for today not because of the Zeher fiasco but because the future is very bleak for him. He is one guy who always had eternal sunshine in his thoughts and who didn't give 2 hoots for anyone/anything. I know he has matured and come a long way from what he was but still it was very unfair for him to be marrying Riddhima when she took poison just before marriage. Sid's dialogues were very logical on Friday and I was hoping he would atleast carry on a conversation with Riddz's parents but here nothing of that sort happened. Sid decided that Riddhima is going to be like this and just took her hand and got her to marriage pandal all the while having a serious face. Why? Because he made a commitment and can't back out at the last moment. But did he stop to think about the future. What would happen to Shashank and Padma if they knew the circumstances in which Sid-Riddhima did get married. What is the hope that Riddz would turn around and start loving him as a husband. How long will the wait turn out to be. Is it fair on his part to be stuck with a woman who may not love him and expect to follow all the duties of being her husband. He did some wrongs but nothing so big that he can't walk out of the marriage and apologize for it. Yup Shashank and Padma would be devastated but in future if they come to know the whole puran punya katha believe me they would be even more worse than they would be now. Sid now has been hurt and I don't know how long the hurt is going to last.

Riddhima:- I swear on god I have never ever met anyone who is more coward than this girl. Fine she has loved Armaan with all heart, Fate snatched away the chance of being with your loved one. So what can you do. I truly sympathize with this girl but I believe if I were in her place I wouldn't have agreed for the marriage. Why did she agree to marry Sid? Because of her parents? But what right she has to spoil Sid's life by agreeing to marry him and more so trying to kill herself on the day of her marriage. If you don't want to forget your love then fine be brave and have your own path and live with your love's memories. What is the point of the whole charade of agreeing to marriage if you know you are never going to be the same person.

What I feel is Marriage should be between 2 Individuals who are committed to staying together for the whole of their life(like Aniket explained to Sid). It doesn't work out if only one person has the will and commitment. The desire should come from both the persons. And lastly you should always always tell what is that you want. You can't allow some one else be parents itself to run your life and in the process you end up spoiling other's lives too. Riddhima should learn to speak up and she should first of all know what is that SHE wants in her life and not her parents or society. Do reply to this post as I would like to see your views on the matter.

Magical poco, i was just waiting for it, i am completely amazed!!!šŸ¤—their union was long awaited but when it happened it touched very one's heart chords!!

True Kai! šŸ¤—.... it was touching indeed. Especially the way this wedding was conducted.

It was a ending and new beginining in Ridhimma's life, she has entered into the holy matrimony with Sid knowing his presence in her life as her husband, life partner and eternal friend!
Sid became aware of Ridhz state of mind and her dark confused vulnerable side just before the marriage. Both of them were fully aware of wht is expected of this marriage.
Sid should how he respected Ridhz love for Armaan even while he was performing the marriage rituals! He careful pick up the pic hiding from every1 and placed it in Ridhz's hand acknowledging his acceptance of Armaan in their marriage.
The accidental burning of AR's picture was symbolic,it made Ridz aware that she no longer only belongs to Armaan and she needs to let go her past and the wound symbolized a special place for Armaan which will always remain with her, in her.
It's very touching to see ridhz burning Armaan's pictures and other belongings that reminded her of him, it was her preparation to bid farewell to Armaan and touching of Sid's feet meant respecting him as her husband and acknowledging his place and presence in her life.
Truely an amazing episode, the entire shaadi sequence was shoot beautifully and the bg song Humesha tum ko caha hai, brought out the emotional feel of the characters!!
Karan Wahi was mind blowing, without uttering a word he spoke volumes with his eyes and gestures! Jenny made every1 feel ridhimma's state of heart and mind!šŸ‘
Cheers

You have put it wonderfully, Kai. Sid becoming aware of Riddhima's 'dark, vulnerable side' just before they are getting married. And yet, Sid went ahead with the marriage. No matter how angry or upset Sid was , he kept his promise and commitment and no matter how shattered Riddhima is , she gave Sid the place of her husband and that too with her devoted respect.

I just posted the promo. Sid is livid with Riddhima because of the suicide and is convinced that Riddhima holds no value to this marriage and the poor thing is trying to convince him of the otherwise.

You are right. No matter how angry or how loving Sid gets, he will always stand by Riddhima - the signs you mentioned are symbolic of his promise of protection to her.

You are right in your place Sarada because that is your learning and perspective of life . As you have seen and understood life and people. Similarly , I see things , people and life from a different window because i have seen things in another colour. And like always , you know that am not going to present any arguments. šŸ˜†......but it is always a pleasure to see things from your glasses and today , i got to wear your glasses. 🄳
