It's when you have a controlling parent like Shashank, kids take a while to separate their identity from their parents. Such was the case with Ridz. She was daddy's perfect and obedient daughter for the longest time till NOW! Basically, through this Armaan fiasco, not only is Ridz going through a lot of emotional guilt, remorse and insanity, she is also finally 'growing up' and finding an identity for herself....it just so happens that she identifies herself as Armaan's soulmate and that's what's causing all these issues and conflicts.

That's why it's important not to try and control our kid's lives or destinies....let them free at the appropriate time, love them unconditionally and not try to force your own values and thoughts on them!

Its nice to see a different perspective and I do agree with some your points.
I don't really see Dr.Shashank as a over controlling parent, yes he is over protective about Riddhima...but almost every father feels that way when it comes to their daughters. Maybe children don't see this, but under that over protective and controlling behaviour of parents is sometimes their own way of loving their kids. Parents never want anything bad for their children and always wants the best for them. Dr.Shashank also wants the best for Riddhima, but now since Riddhima has made her decision clear to him that she wants to leave, Dr.Shashank has accepted it and is not blocking her path.
The way Riddhima identifies herself as Armaan's lover only and completely forgets the existence of her parents is very sad to see. Her parents are the very reason of her own existence and who she is as a person, and to deny that is quite hurtful. I understand that Riddhima is not herself at the moment, and she probably didn't mean everything she said to her father, but it is hurtful to hear.
One thing I strongly believe in is, any child who hurts their parents deeply cannot live happily for too long because Karma will always get back at them somehow in the future.

I agree, allparents want the best for their kids but here it's what Shanky thinks is best for Ridz NOT what is best for Ridz! Right now he knows she is not in sound state of mind...he should not let her just leave. She could even hurt herself. He is a doc and knows how to restrain patients like Ridz....he is just upset that Ridz did not 'nibhao her farz as a beti' but he never understood what she really needed😕
Shashank IMO is very controlling...Ridz has always done everything to please him until now that's why he is getting so upset. Armaan always challenged him and that's why he never liked him
😕

she will come back for sure...all kids who rebel return but only after they have found themselves. Right now Ridz is still in an identity crisis and till she is secure about who she is and gets what she needs the most- armaan...she will rebel! Even if armaan is handicapped or an invalid- Ridz wants to be with him and no one should try to stop her

similarly, parents who try to control their kid's destinies, will never find happiness in their relationship with their kids. Kids never asked their parents to give birth to them....it's the parents responsibility to understand their kids. If they do so, kids will reciprocate that affection and respect too

The way Ridhima behaved with Shashank today was horrible. I really felt for Shashank today! I know Ridhima is not in her right mind but is this how you talk to your parents? Is this how you talk to a man that loved you and gave you so much for so many years? no! How can Ridhima say such things to Shashank? Shashank has never seen a difference between her or Anjali, infact i think he loves Ridhima more. When Ridhima was not in Sanjevni for those past few months, he wanted her to come back everyday! He slept with her photograph, and remembered her so much, and this is what he gets? This is like a slap in his face :( I feel so bad for him! Ok Shashank lied to Ridhima, but he does not deserve such behaviour from the daughter he loves so immensely.

Ridhima has lost it..and all i can say is OPEN YOUR EYES and realize that you might have lost Armaan but dont loose your parents..they love you the most and they will never leave you like Armaan!

She's finally fit for the role of 'Urmila' in Pyaar tune kya kiya. 🤔

Armaan acted like super intelligent. Left her to play the new Urmila. But can Armaan be ever wrong? I guess not. 🤔
There's so many topics on Ridhhima and her so called 'Rape'. I am now fully prepared for my PhD topic , which is 'Rape, Rapist and the marriages'.

ha ha ha..even i wonder how people can use such a sensitive word in every other topic without even analysing what must have happened..the same people who can write novels on AR love scenes are not able to figure out what went actually wrong with riddhima..anyways good luck with your research..do tell me if you find out something interesting about the connection between hypothermia and marriages.. 😛

Sure, will find out the connection between Test-Tube and the other word too. [I guess that word is not allowed here] 😛
Btw, whats Ridhhima's fault if she's brainless? 😕
