Since I do not have any objective comments, let us reflect on this picture.
Oh, Nikki. Who told you shiny gift-wrapping paper was a good fabric to make clothes out of, honey? It looks highly flammable though...should catch fire quick.
No, in all seriousness...the person who designed these clothes and the one who sewed them? Should be at the deserving end of a big, fat, red mark. Who in the world wears such shiny clothes to work? Secondly, satin is not a good fabric to work with simply because of how it wrinkles. Thirdly, ARE THE PANTS MADE OUT OF SATIN TOO? GOOD LORD. And, ill-shaped? Understatement. All in all, a recipe for disaster.
However, the combination of pink/gray on top isn't too bad...looks lovely on Shweta, actually. I don't mind the collar/cut around the neck, but it gets progressively bad as you keep going down, with whatever's going down around the waist. To top that, the shirt looks
uncomfortably small. Add the wrinkles around the hips/crotch from the satin and it's just....awful. From the two outfits she's worn so far, I get the feel that they're trying to give her the skinny-pants look, but the fitting just isn't working. The wrinkles here, baggy-ness around the hips in the black pair she was wearing before...why not put her in something like
this? Jeans won't hold wrinkles like that, and the fit will be perfect because of the stretchy material. Shweta's short and all the leg she can get is welcomed...so paired with some sharp stilettos, and voila! On the other hand, here we have this weirdly cut two-some which makes her looks frumpy and matronly. Who said a professional, working woman can't be a stunning, head-turner?
Abhi? I think I can almost blow a fuse with this one. THOSE PANTS?
Those pants? Dude, way too tight. Plus, the light blue colour makes it all worse, and they look so scruffy. I don't mind the jeans...lots of people pair them with dress shirts and get away with the causal-formal look. If only A's were darker and baggier though. These look as far from neat and slick as you can go.
The only saving graces were shots of their faces š But even then...Shweta's cold pink/purple-y lipstick...meh. Her hair looks great tied up like that though š Aha! I managed to come up with a positive š Finally.
