I was actually reading the post called "Do opposites really attract?"
or something along those lines in the forum the other day and thought
that comparatively, AN aren't absolute polar opposites, like AR and
Atul-Angie are. Both of them have had pretty turbulent pasts, are
extremely strong-willed and challenging, have big egos, were
heart-broken previously, etc., etc. Of course, there are some glaring
differences, but don't think there story is something I'd tag as a case
of opposites attract. I agree, its not completely opposites attract. They have a lot of common between them in terms of emotional turmoil... the only glaring difference in them is Abhi is much more mature to Nikki's impish behaviour. Yet its only he who knows how to handle her and its only Nikki who is able to cut through Abhi

"He owns up to how he feels and does not run away from what he is
feeling...be it anger or love because lets remember he was ready to
confess to Nikki long ago at the pool and was not going to beat around
the bush. He is alot more private about the way he feels and doesn't
let anyone in that easily..." >

Hmm, perfect analysis of Abhi. 👍🏼<br>

I remember Shaz and a few other people pointing out at the time that
Abhi's reaction was way under-stated compared to that of a normal guy
in real-life, because public humiliation isn't something men take
lightly. Even though it was TERRIBLY SHOT, the kiss and his reaction
were both realistic. For one, I know I wouldn't want to him to be still
begging for her love, running around trees singing after all of that,
because that's just not how it is. Only a pinch of reality, but even
that is hard to digest for most people. I so agree, considering the turmoil he went I was fearing the worst to happen... However, it really needs a lot of maturity to understand what he did.
