Jogi Mahi...meant for RM, AA? :)

hey guys...so we're in for another song sequence...but i have to admit the song choice intrigued me the first time i saw the promo...Jogi Mahi...hmm...i personally think it's a lovely song, but the context somewhat confused me...it's meant to be an out and out celebration, right...and then i realised that there could be two perfectly plausible, and one possibly far fetched reason for the choice of this song for the occasion...😊

for those of you who've heard Jogi Mahi or watched Bachna Ae Haseeno, i'm sure you know what i mean...it's a song that talks about a possibly-in-love, but nearly estranged couple...specifically, of a 12 year marriage which has seen love only from the husband's side, with the wife refusing to respond due to reasons of her own...lack of faith in love after an incident...and the song has Ranbir singing to get them back together...so how exactly does that fit in to DMG, i thought? and i realised that it could be a perfect fit for RM and AA...the first stanza, which is about the guy, suits Atul to the T...and the second stanza, about the girl, could just about cover Muskaan's dilemma...😳and the third, rather far fetched alternative i thought of was Billy and Ananya, but that's really stretching imagination to it's tether's end...lol...😆

so i see it as a good sign...maybe some semblance of movement in RM and AA too, along with the defining, priceless moments of AR, and even some of AN thrown in...sounds like a nice, complete and palatable dish for tonight's menu, don't you think? 😛

hope it turns out nice, even if it isn't exactly what i think...this is just a conjecture on my part, after all...

hmm...but then how do they plan to incorporate the lyrics of the song? coz the words are all about the situation...the first stanza talks about the guy having pined for her love for so long, and having given up his youth to give her happiness an help her forget the hurt she experienced...

and the second stanza's all about the girl having lost faith in love, but praying that it'll come back to her someday...

i mean, even the first line of the song talks about "khoya jaane kahan inna sona pyaar"...can't see any space for pure celebration here, without some kind of an explanation...

I'm sure the creatives were not looking 4 any of this .Ittz just going to be a dance sequence at the end of which we see an unintersted Karan pulling jenny towards him!!!!

you know, i thought Karan looked like he was rather enjoying himself dancing in the precap ...tw...i've noticed that he does seem to enjoy dancing more ever since JDJ began...and i still think it's too early for me to take a stand on the Jenny bit...it'll be their second or third scene yaar...i think we should give them some space...

and the lyrics, like i said, are antithetical to the idea of only celebration and dance...

let's see, let's see...

Yeap its a perfect choice..all couples will fit into it.. we can see RM AA billy anny..some imotions from gals or boys side
and ofcurse AR and AN

yeap karan looked like he was really enjoying himself..n the part wen he pulled ridzi to himself..was *sigh* amazinggg :DD

im soo happy they chose this song..i really like. it!

I love this song a lot! And the idea about it being for AA and RM would be lovely...

I'd be on Cloud 9 if we get to see some really nice AA/PaNa moments during the song, because their track needs to get at least a little push...I truly hope something like this is shown! Then again, I'm not going to get my hopes up too high...

Edit: Btw, I was listening to it earlier today, and what you said about the stanza that could potentially fit Atul-Anjali came to my mind automatically as I heard that part...😊 And the Rahul-Muskaan dilemma fits in really well, also!

yeah i knoww...😳 that's what i felt immediately as i went over the song in my head while i was thinking...and yes, it's a lovely song...melody and fun combined...and the whole feel is great...touching, and yet happy, with that aura of celebration too...

let's see what they do with it tonight...😊
