As they come out of Shashank's chamber, Armaan's face has lost color and he doesnt know what to say.... but for Riddhima its like... one step ahead in their relationship... her father had actually wanted to meet Armaan's dad which means, he was approving of the relationship otherwise...... so there was just another step left before they could be together forever now... and this thought thrilled her... she fails to look at the change in Armaan's face....
R: Toh, Dr. Mallik, kab mila rahe tum mujhe apne Sasurji se.....
A: Please Riddhima..... its not funny
R: arey... bilkul funny nahi hai.... main kahan joke kar rahi hoon, mujhe bhi toh milna hai... apni hone waali family say ( still in a fun and mocking tone)
Armaan is majorly annoyed though, and he says "stop it Riddhima
Riddhima realises the change in tone and knows there is certainly something wrong and finally says.... " Armaan koi problem hai, tum mujhe nahi bataoge.....
A: Please Riddhima... main apne parents ke baare main koi baat nahi karna chahta...
He walks away saying this.....
Armaan is totally dazed as he walks back into the locker room, after that little argument with Riddhima.... why did one new problem have to necessarily crop up after the other was just about to end... just yesterday he was happy that his would be father in law had become accepting towards his relationship with Riddhima and now he thought they could finally be
togther and live happily ever after... or was it just it tales that it happened.....
on the corridor....
in the meanwhile Riddhima surprised at Armaan's reaction.... " koi apne parents ke baare main kaise baat nahi karna chahega....... She meets Niki on the way... who seems to be thrilled with herself that she has managed to fool Abhimanyu Modi..... on looking at Riddhima all worried she asks her what the matter is...
Niki and Riddhima are now in the canteen, and they are talking, and Riddhima tells Niki all that happened.... " aur... issi liye dad Armaan ke papa se milna chahte hai......"
Niki looks at Riddhima with a look of discomfort in her face.....
Riddhima doesnt notice this and contiues to talk.... " par pata nahi kyun, Armaan apne parents ke baare main kuch batana hi nahi chahta.....
Niki: Riddhima ..... Armaan apne parents ke baare main kabhi baat karna pasand nahi karta... warna tumhe lagta hai, woh tumse apne zindagi ka itna important hissa chupaata.....
Riddhima is in thought... and she also feels a little jealous about the fact that there is an aspect of his life, that she is totally unaware of and what saddens her even more is the fact that Armaan didnt want to share it with her..... She just gets up and goes away from tehre and Niki feels really bad for her... she decides being a good friend she will do her bit...
She goes to find Armaan... and realises he keeps to himself all day... either he is working or he is deliberately avoiding her, as he seems to have got a hint she wants to talk to him.....
Riddhima meets Niki, once and both of them talk about their lack of success all day, to get thro to Armaan..... For Riddhima Armaan has actually withdrawn into a shell and he seems to be lost and and in thought....
Finally by the end of the day, Niki sees him in the locker room... on seeing her come, Armaan pretends to leave for some work......
Nik: ab mujhse bhi bhaagna chahte ho Armaan....
Ar: please Niki.... mujhe dhruv ko milne jaana hai....
Nik: Armaan dhruv so raha hai... main abhi wahi se aayi hoon....
Ar: toh fir, Dr. Keerti ko thode sample dene the.... Dhruv case ke maamle main....
Nik: Armaan.... Riddhima uncle ke baare main jaana chahti hai.......
Armaan stops and looks blankly at Niki.....
Ar: Niki kahin tumne use........
Niki: kuch bhi nahi bataya...
Niki comes towards Armaan and puts her arm on his shoulder.... " Armaan, tum Riddhima ko sach kyun nahi bata dete... wo bahut upset lag rahi thi........
Ar: I know Niki... lekin main Riddhima ko kuch batana nahi chahta....
Niki: but Armaan..... woh tumse itna pyar karti hai..... socho usey kitna bura lagega jab woh ye sochegi ki tum apne bare main use kuch nahi batana chahte.....
Ar: niki main Riddhima se bahut pyar karta hoon, aur ye baat woh jaanti hai...
Niki: I know Armaan... lekin kabhi kabhi pyar main, aur bhi cheezen important ho jaati hai........
Ar: lekin not this... i dont wanna talk about this Niki please...
Niki: Armaan.... ek baar... kum se kum uncle se baat kar toh lo......... he misses you Armaan......
Armaan gives Niki a warning look and says... " main dad ko call nahi kar sakta niki.....
As this conversation happens.... Riddhima enters.....
Rid: agar tum nahi karoge toh, main unhe call karoongi.........
Armaan: Riddhima.....( he looks at her disappointed)
and before she can say anything he goes away.....
After him Niki tells riddhima... " Riddhima.... ho sake toh iss baare main Armaan se baat mat karo... please.. its a request...
she leaves from there..... leaving Riddhima perplexed.....
Armaan's house:
Armaan is at home that night and he looks at his phone...after ages... he goes to his contacts, and scrolls down... to a number... "DAD"
Ar: Huh! dad........... i cant believe main unhe call karne ke baare main soch bhi raha hoon.....
He cuts the call before dailing.......
An unknown location:
A huge sized house is shown, that is almost palatial to look at. As we go in, we see a lavish decor and everythng looks branded and has finesse.... As we go thro the rooms of the house, the butlers cleaning the house..... we wonder if we have landed in some five star hotel... the land line keeps ringing... and no one takes it.....
one servant finally picks up the phone and says " sir abhi busy hai.... baad main call karo....woh abhi important meeting main hai"
as the guy hangs, up another time the phone rings.... and the servant makes a face and takes the call again and repeats the same...
Armaan's house:
Armaan is so sick of calling... he makes a face of exasperation....
Mallik House:
Then turning to his colleague says.... " arey.... maint toh tang aa gaya hoon... agar itne hi busy hai, toh ghar pe call karne ke liye bolte hi kyun hai..........."
We now walk thro the house and show the back yard of the house from the terrace view and as we come down we show a huge swimming pool.. coming closer to the pool, we show a man, who is lying on a pool floating on a water tube.... there are two gals on either side, and they are serving him drinks.... He has his arms around them and he says " Rita.... oh baby, you are so beautiful........
then turning to the other side..... he says.... " But Tina, there is no one as gorgeous as you baby........ both the gals giggle as they hug him side ways.... He kisses both the gals on their cheeks...
The phone starts to ringing... he doesnt notice first, but when Tina reacts.... " Armaan??????"
Rita: whose's Armaan VM baby?
Vijay Mallik sits up, pushing both the gals into the pool.... as he looks at the name flashing on the mobile... Armaan... the gals in the pool look at the guys angrily....
Vijay Mallik looks at his phone and smiles to himself and takes the call...." Armaan my son! how you doing my boy?"
Ar: Dad..... main aapse milna chahta hoon..... ( he speaks in a hurry)
