Thank you for your comment! and i understand that the there is a very fine line between creativity and rationalism which too some has been crossed...but we must not forget the DMG has never relied on ratinolism....be it armaan going to punjab with muskaan,the randomn and numerous dance sequences, the number of times that armaan has been admitted to the hospital, the fact that no one noticed the AR relationship until now and im sure there are many more such examples yet it still continues to be such a popular show! and no one can deny that........now speaking of trp's to be honest i dont know much about how that works but the fact the DMG TB articles get the most comments, and that the DMG forum is the most active is popularity enough! and come on yaar some call this immature i call the the "epitome of creativity" lol😆

Lol Sanaa everyone should read each comments properly in TB now and why it is filled with so much comments haha and the forum here is usually active but that does not count as it being popular because TRPS are wayy different and they run the show and can take it off too

See the old episodes and you will see the clear difference or go read the description of the show!

The show is not about senseless things which it has turned into and the show is defiantly not only a love story according to what it was suppose to be!

Not saying love should not exist but it is getting too much and i think creatives are handling the tracks very poorly

hey there!

firstly you can obviously see the so called creativity is not working and even the most loyal dmg'ians are fed up of the nonsense..sure it's an entertainment show but even comical shows contain more rationalism than this show/and again theres a fine line between portraying "hatke" tracks and "insensible" tracks/ basically if non-sensible tracks are shown, then the intelligent audience gets engraged😆

secondly-- the only reason dmg articles get so many comments is because there are many groups associated with dmg..some agree with dmg wile "many" disagree with it to the max..so basically the repeating fans argue on there..thats no way to measure a show's popularity

thirdly- this is not the most active forum..you might wanna check other forums before you confirm this one...i dont wanna name specifics as we're not allowed to discuss about other shows on this forum

fourthly- many members have left this forum for good so you can determine its decreasing popularityby this confirmed fact.

fifthly- dude i have no idea on how they determine trps..but all i know is that this show USE to get some pretty high ones back in the days....now basically if the trps get any more lower than they already are, then i won't be suprised if it gets a warning from the channel.

why are you guys turning this into a negative topic....by arguing you can have your opinion and we can have ours.......the show might be going horrible in some peoples view but others are loving it. You don't have to try and prove the other wrong.
Secondly TRP's (actually having studied television studies) is a messed up system not properly setup and is mostly used for advertisers use to get funds for programming. It is not based on how many people are watching in total. It only uses certain households that have been setup with people meters and a diary system to record people watching. Those are th only ones accounted for in Trp's. Usually small cities and towns get ignored.Also people living abroad who watch indian tv channels are not accounted for in indian television trps. It also doesn't count reruns in considerig Trp's.
So Trp's don't really mean much to me in showing what is popular or not.
Also there is more than one medium to watch shows a lot of dmg fans who don't have the channel or are living abroad watch the shows online on forums or sites like youtube......who are still ardent fans but are not considered. So Trp's don't really speak much for total popularity.
Dmg has many fans.....most people haven't left and this forum and many others like it are a proof of that.

Alrite then after being bashed I just have one simple question: I do not understand how the activity on its forums and the attention of its articles does not equal popularity. I will correct myself and say that the DMG forum is an extremely active forum maybe not the most. Now to defend what I meant, it is sites such as these that allow people like myslef outside of the country to love and watch DMG, .....i truly feel that a site like india-forums is an effective indicator of popularity simply because of the fact that it provides a more gloabl prespective in every sense! And to end it off I am sorry if my comments may have been hurtful and glad if they made you laugh all I wanted to say is that i love DMG and Im sure you all do too...really thats as deep as it gets!

well i have studied quite a bit too..and ultimately shows end up getting a warning if the so called "trps" are not doing so hot...and of course we don't want that happening to the most loved show, DMG

and why can i or any other not so "ardent" fan of the current dmg track post on here...last time i checked there was no disclaimer on this topic..and why do you consider it as being negative. Take it as constructive crtiticism.😛

Just because we are not so - loving the current track doesnt give anyone the right to label as non "Dmgians"

Also this is a public forum and forums are meant for healthy discussions..trust me it's a good exercise for your brain to have healthy debates. 😆

So basically I love dmg too, i just "not-so - love" the current non-sensible track.

India - forums is not an accurate tool to measure a show's popularity..LOL, 350,000 members cannot determine if a show is doing well or not.

I also live abroad and i do understand that IF is a great tool to stay connected, but comparing a website to the whole world now just doesnt make any sense to me.

I like debates..thanks for having a positive one. This lets us gain perspectives.

I agree with you Sana. DMG is most poplular serial. I don't know how TRP works. If these people really care about TRP why don;t you they go and watch high TRP show.
