I was having this internal fight about posting this topic....But after a long session of deep thinking, I decided to post this topic.
As we all know Ridhima's character has not only changed, it has changed Drastically. Some of you may say that it is for the better because now she has faith in Armaan and their relationship, on the other hand, some of you may say that her character used to be alot more lively and bubbly before and she was a much stronger person. I just want to know what your perspective about this whole issue is. I'm not taking any sides right now, because if I do, there 99% chances that this topic will become a bashing post. So as of now, I'm reserving my comments and will post them soon.
NOTE: Do NOT bring Shilpa/Sukriti here....this discussion is purely about the character and not the actor. Do NOT start bashing here. I do not want my topic to be closed 😊

Great topic Liz....all i wanna say is the reason why everyone loves Ridhima's character now casue she 's much more understood, she loves Armaan, and not confused..but i don't understand... this qualities were in Ridhima before don't know why people have to always comapre them? just casue of their personal reasons hating the actor or what so ever i know i don't wanan bring them in but it very childish and foolish of them to say ridhima is changed for good casue of their personal issues....and lot of prople have misconception about fan like me to not like Ridhima just casue its changed as whole body..they have yet to realize why someone can't accept it???..but this is no ending issue this is gonna last until this show gets over

Riddhima has changed a lot, but I think she was better before. She was mature then and now, but now I think she doesn't have much life in her character. She USED TO be energetic and she wouldn't always be so ga-ga over Armaan. She had her friends like Atul and Sapna. I think now she became mature, but along with that, she made her character boring. Becoming mature isn't always the best. She's not much bubbly anymore or lively. It's just a still character who I can't understand anymore. Her personality isn't the same and she doesn't take the time to understand people anymore.

Well before Riddhima didn't love Armaan as much because she didn't know him that well. She said it herself and I respect her for saying that because she was right. Now even if she loves Armaan more, she still changed her character by becoming serious almost all of the time. Sure you could call that her maturity, but DMG is a youth based show which is enjoyable without maturity every minute of the show.

Definitely maturity is important. But in a show like DMG, maturity isn't always what we want to see.
