I have not watched the first 40.episodes, but from the flashbacks that Happy sees about her fun times with Rocky, it doesn't seem as though he is just a friend for her. It is not just the dance sequence, but the truck.scene, the bike rides, all show a degree of closeness, including physical closeness, that looks like a romance. But Rocky didn't get an ounce of it. He kept wondering why did Happy push him and say those things. He didn't get it. He even asked "kya nahi hosakta?' multiple times because it wasn't clear to him.Now coming to Khosla family, there was a scene in an episode were RoHa got drenched in fountain water. Biji and Rocky's mother saw this, cursed Happy and immediately got the idea that something is brewing. They despised that thought. So after all this Shaan stunt is over, Khosla family will be a big hindrance to RoHa love story.
