Which is OK. There is no obligation on the part of the viewers to like the leads wished on them!
As for me, both Rocky and his Happy leave me cold.

Hello Aunty, I was missing you, and you are here:)

tired of happy's same expression all the time, how can RV fall someone who wears the same expression all the time🤔 shadesofwhite said, both leads are too good for happy, she's right.

I am no longer angry with RV. He did what he did in a moment of deplorable emotional weakness, and he regrets it bitterly post facto, when it is too late.

"Consumed by guilt, but that doesn't overshadow his intelligence" is a very neat expression! 👏

It is undeniably a black mark on his character, but otherwise, he is a gentleman..

After having watched what our hero Rocky did in the hotel, endangering the lives of dozens of innocent people just in order to pull Happy down, I don't see him as being any better than RV in the morality stakes. And RV is far more interesting and complex as a character.

Plus he is played with superb control by Rohit, intelligently, never going over the top or hamming.

Take the scene where he is arguing with the jailor ( who doesn't look at all like the warder who let Rocky escape. So why is he so worried about the prospect of Rocky not being in his cell?). RV never raises his voice, and he simply disregards the jailor's attempt to bully him, merely stating that he is NOT seeking the jailor's permission. There is a smooth, understated, but still rock hard self-assurance that is a pleasure to watch.

Next to him, Happy is a near hysterical bundle of nerves, babbling at top speed and only betraying how little use she would be in any crisis. This time, she almost puts RV out of patience with her frantic reaction to Shaan Randhawa.

ShadeofWhite, you have really missed something major by not watching Rohit's role of a lifetime as Alexander the Great of Macedonia. His role was underwritten, he had only 20% of the screen time, and yet he carried it off splendidly. Physically, he looked very much like Alexander, and he had the sheer presence, the aura of invincible power, that the role demanded. He was better even than Richard Burton, and as for the badly miscast Colin Farrell, Rohit's Alexander left Farrell's far behind.

That was the first time I had seen him, and I was simply bowled over. I understand he was also extremely good as Mirza Altunia in Razia Sultan, but I have not seen that.

RV can't be a patch on Alexander, but he is still much, much better than the average. I watch this mediocre show only for him.

That is really flattering, kid. Thank you! I miss you too, or I wouldn't be here. 😉

I have already echoed your sentiments re: this perennially unhappy Happy😉 at great length, and also.repeatedly voiced the opinion that RV, if he had any sense, would stick to Anaya. Which, I feel, is what he will do in the end.

I am not going to post on every other thread, as I used to do, but I have put up a longish comment above. See if you like it.

The script and the show are both amateurish, and two of the three main characters are clumsy and unappealing. Rohit has a tough row to hoe, and they will soon sideline his RV in order to enhance Rocky's image, such as it is.

An aside: when Happy stumbled back, twice, into RV's arms, I was afraid she was going to knock him over!😆

Exactly my point. I said the same when I noticed those lenses. Without lenses he would have looked much better and less scary. I liked his look with sunglasses as his eyes weren't visible. He looked really really good when he walked into the hotel.
Producers said they didn't have any intention to make him look like Ian. Ian and Rocky have uncanny resemblance and fans repeatedly mentioning this made them realize.😆 One of the producers said he's better than the firangi.😆

Rocky over Shaan Randhawa any day.

You're right. Happy doesn't compare to Lois Lane. Her character is too weak. Compared to the men, the super Shaan, and the brilliant lawyer RV, she is nothing but a weeping damsel. I used to ship Roha but now I don't. In fact I don't ship Happy with anyone. Both the male leads deserve better. Anaya is so much better than Happy, strong, and intelligent. RV should stick with her. Even Sania's character is better than Happy, even though the CVs butchered her character.

Couldn't agree more. Both the MLs have some development in their characters but Happy is dooming to abyss. Lately she only screams, yells and weeps to put her point.
Both Anaya and Sanya are much better characters.

Aunty I am watching Razia Sultan these days, ohhh god RP is too too too good as Mirza Altunia, his dialogue delivery and performance is so on point and god that killer smile and eyes, god his eyes!!! such a power packed performance he has given and the cherry on the cake is his comic timing , yes his comic timing too!!! his eyes speaks volume!!! You can watch it too on zeetv5, but aunty the sets and plot execution is mediocre in a historical show as well, so that might disappoint you!!!!

in bold: same here, now coming to the rest, I was so excited to share this with you that I decided to comment on the other stuff later😆

It is undeniably a black mark on his character, but otherwise, he is a gentleman..

true aunty, he's a gentleman indeed, and I want more scenes of him only to see how his character is gonna develop and how many more layers this character has before it gets sidelined like you said

omg aunty, how can I missed something so important??? putting the lives of innocent people in danger makes him no less darker then RV, rocky was not a criminal when he was put behind bars but now he is a criminal, cvs have lost their marblesUL:exactly, he's many layered, complex and somewhat mysterious, calm and composed, he's a damn right choice for the role but makes me sad thinking he will be sidelined, if he's a parallel lead then he deserves the equal screen space like the ML, I hope RP leaves the show for good before they start butchering RV.

Haven't seen him in Alexander but I will watch it for him😳

RV never raises his voice, and he simply disregards the jailor's attempt to bully him, merely stating that he is NOT seeking the jailor's permission. There is a smooth, understated, but still rock hard self-assurance that is a pleasure to watch.

Well observed aunty!!! your analysis is always on point👏👏👏

unlike happy he didn't hyper activate, fully aware what can happen if shaan randhawa is actually rocky, but he remained composed which explains why he made the jailor do what he wanted , I am telling you not asking your permission, that was all indeed a treat for eyes!!! it all makes him look more sophisticated and classy then ever, more then his first scene in the show that marked his entry as well, slightly attracted towards happy, pleased with arrangements, loving brother, loving partner and there we see his angry young man side when he confronted bhatias at their place👏👏👏and a very helpless human being when he didn't know what to do when he knew that it was his own brother who assaulted smiley with bad intentions.

Now I am getting carried away😳😆😉, but can't help when his eyes were fixed on happy when she was playing with those kids, he was mesmerized but not dreamily like other leads or parallel leads, it looked like that he was making a decision then again he had that soft look on his face when she offers him a chocolate.Yesterday when he was thinking that 'yeh shaan randawa kuch khatak sa rha hai' it was something genuine and very natural.

To be fair aunty, no one has perfect morality here except Happy. Even I don't like this track. First, Rocky was jailed even though he was innocent and now he's breaking every law to get revenge. I wish the CVs wouldn't have put him in jail in the first place. They could've dragged out the courtroom drama.

[DIV]And even if he is jailed, they could have made RV to do some law thing discreetly to get Rocky out sooner. All they did is showing RV feel guilty but what's the point of remorse if he hadn't tried to help Rocky? Basically they could have done a lot better with the story but they couldn't resist to jump to this OTT Shaan plot because it's filmy!!
