I started watching this show a few weeks ago and fell in love with the sharp dialogues and wit. Initially, I wasn't super pleased with how passive Happy was, but I kept watching. This new track is horrible. I think Ansh is doing a wonderful job at playing Rocky, however I never expected Rocky to be such a sadist. Their initial Nok-Jhok was fun and all, but this new track has taken it above and beyond what I would consider a "Nok-Jhok". I've always watched Gul's shows, so I knew she was into the "bad boy" trope, but holy wow, I didn't expect this.
My only hope is that Happy can grow stronger. I'm tired of her being passive. I want to see a more assertive female lead, rather than one who cowers at every injustice. I'm hoping this unfolds smoothly. But, I feel as though we're going to get a bit more of the torture and sadist trope before any redemption is shown.
