Loved to see Dr K in action and ya Prem is back 😳

Wow happy to see Kalyani openly supporting Nandini was great unlike Pratham and hated Gautham's expressions when Sumathi showed blank paper.As far as court drama that too for a rape case .....well I have not seen in reality but heard that the opponent lawyer will literally traumatise the victim with vulgar question ....so that that is the main reason many rape victims or the victims family never file case fearing the consequences the girl and her family has to go through......may be CVs are trying to show this😕 .....so in many cases U find the whole family commiting suicide unable to bear the disrace in the society🤢😡

So Cvs just brought YS for traumatising Nandini to the extreme.....and they have succeded😈
Well Prem is concerned ,angry ,worried for Nandini......loved the eye locks of PreNa😳....esp when Nandini asked his permission before telling about the rape....loved that gesture....It shows the trust and true love between them ❤️

Hated when YS spoke about aadhi gharwali to Govind......poor fellow was taken aback😲.....even Sumi didnot expect this......hope she turns the table

Some other things like Prem getting a call center job -- it was made horribly difficult for him. Whereas a similar story line in the movie Do Dhooni Char, the kid gets a call center job in an hour. The writers seem to be getting a bit lazy.

Does anyone know if this script follows very closely that of the Tamil serial Idhayam? I don't know Tamil and wasn't aware that this serial was a remake till recently

Welcome to the forum Seeker.usa1.🤗...well DSDV is not following Idhayam very closely well concept is same ...ie what trauma a girl has to undergo when she is raped .
the difference in story

1.In Tamil serial Idhayam husband of Nandini does not support her after he comes to know she is raped ....rather feels deceived and files for divorce.

2.In Idhayam Nandini consumates her marriage before she knew her horrendous past .......So Shankar(Nandini's husband) in Tamil feels deceived but l Dr Kalyani knows before her Dil will come to know through her sis-Bil....as in DSDV
3.Nandini will break all ties with her sis-Bil for keeping her in dark and deceiving her.......in Idhayam
4.In idhayam the rapist is complete outsider .....not a relative ie Krushna as portrayed in DSDV
5.In Idhayam sumathi too is a good friend of Nandini and supportive......but not a lawyer as in DSDV
6.Shankar's brother does not share a very good rapport with him as Prem-Pratham share in DSDV
7.In idhayam too Shankar has a sis but has a love marriage......but don't remember much
8.In Idhayam Nandini is loved by Fil for her dedication,love,care towards the family ........but will change his altitude once he comes to know about her past

9.In Tamil Idhayam they show the baby is alive and is a girl as a result of rape ......but later adopted by nandini's bil-Sis to protect Nandini's izzat......in DSDV it is shown baby was born dead


In my opinion DSDV is far superior in presentation, fab cast,moral of the story ,made beleivable with relatives involved 👏

The prosecuting lawyer (YS) is a bit over the top though -- it might have been worse in the Tamil version.
