Episode opens with Sumi picking up the fallen vase and asking Aayi what happened. Aayi says it was a billi and I opened the door to shoo it out. She goes to close the door and Sumi follows her and wait, let me see. Sumi goes out but does not see Krushna (as we all correctly guessed! the precap suspense does not work anymore for us! 😃 😉). Aayi forces Sumi to come back inside and closes the door. Sumi is still doubtful and asks Aayi whether she is hiding something because she felt Aayi was talking to someone. Nandini comes and Aayi finds the scapegoat saying it is all because of this girl that you don't believe your mother. Sumi starts to argue but Nandini takes her inside.
Rajadhyaksh home. Kalyani is sitting on bed and does not look well. She is worried and tells Gautam that she is worried about Prem and that she cannot be with her children when they need her most. Gautam says in this condition, I cannot allow you to come to court. He says I got the best lawyer in town for Prem and he refused and starts blaming Nandini for her influence on Prem. 🤢 Kalyani asks him why is he still thinking on those lines. Gautam says this is the first case for Sumati and she has no experience and she is against YS, she doesn't stand a chance to win. Kalyani suggests why don't we talk to Paranjpe and beg him to withdraw the case as Prem is innocent. Gautam agrees and Kalyani says that she wants to come too.
Sona is in YS office and he asks her did Krushna say anything to her before leaving home on that fateful day? Sona starts to answer when her phone rings. It is from a sari shop and the owner asks her to pay some dues. She says she has not bought anything for many days now and nothing is pending payment. The shopwala tells her it was Krushna who bought 2 saris saying he wants to surprise her but he never sent the payment. 😃 Sona is puzzled and asks when Krushna came there and finds out he bought the saris on the day of the blast (the 2 saris he sent to Nandini I guess! 😛 ) Sona assures the shopwala that she will pay the dues and asks him to send her a bill. She then tells YS what the shopwala said and says no saris were delivered to me. YS says the one who was supposed to get the saris got them..🤢...Sona goes huh??? 😆 YS says it is okay, don't worry but when you get the bill, give it to me, it might be important evidence for your case. Sona agrees.
Karmarkar home. Nandini comes out of the house and sees a monkey cap lying near the flowerpot. She picks it up and remembers that the man who attacked her outside the court wore a similar cap and then remembers Sumati saying someone was in the house the previous night. She is confused and wonders who it can be. 😲
Sumi is thinking of how to collect evidence for her case. She makes notes and thinks that the doctor is the most important witness and is the only person who can help them. Aayi comes in and seeing Sumi busy starts her usual rant about a sister helping the murderer of her brother. 🤢 Sumi tells her I am not against my brother and when duty calls, one cannot be thinking of relationships and emotions. 👏
Kalyani and Gautam talking to Rajeev Paranjpe. K tries to explain that Prem is innocent. She says she understand his loss but.......Paranjpe is annoyed......he asks her how can she talk as if it is some financial loss in business? 😕 He says Krushna was his daughter Sonakshi's life and now that he is dead, she is like a living corpse and her life is spoiled. Gautam and Kalyani again try to explain that Krushna was not killed by Prem but that it was an accident and that Prem is innocent. Paranjpe says he doesn't want to hear anything and asks them to leave. Kalyani is disappointed.
Karmarkar house. Sumi gets a call and the person tells her that she found Dr. Sangeetha's address. Sumi is happy and goes to the kitchen and drags Nandini out with her saying we are going out. When Sumi leaves, Aayi removes some papers from Sumi's folder and replaces them with blank sheets. 😲
Sumati and Nandini find the doctor's house. The doctor comes out and is a bit taken aback to see Nandini. Sumi says she wants her help. Dr. S says she cannot help them as she does not practice anymore and starts to close the door. Sumi stops her and says she can help them and introduces herself and Nandini. When Dr. S hears Nandini's name, she remembers Govind and Pallavi bringing Nandini to her and then later Nandini's pregnancy and delivery. She asks her you are the same girl who some years ago.........and Sumi says yes. She tells the doc that you are only one who knows she was raped and you know who did it (I don't get that..😕...how can Sumi assume that the doctor know who the rapist is??? 😕 ) She says you can help Nandini now and save her husband Prem from the gallows, please help. Dr. S is hesitant (she looks a bit scared?? 🤔) and says she doesn't know anything that can help them and that she doesn't want to to be involved in court matters. Sumi takes out Krushna's photo and shows it to the doctor and asks wherther she knows him. There is a flashback where the Dr. S remembers seeing Krushna in Nandini's room at the hospital. Nandini is unconscious and in bed and Krushna talks to her saying that he didn't want it to be this way but you refused to cooperate. He tells her that she should not tell anyone who did it, or else he will have to silence her. 😡 Nandini pleads with the doctor asking saying she is also a woman and will understand her pain and that if anything happens to Prem, she will not be able to live. Dr. S finallly agrees to help them. Sumi and Nandini are happy. 😊
Karmarkar's house. Aayi takes the papers from Sumi's folder to the kitchen and burns them. 😲 She says to herself that I cannot let my son be blamed for something he did not do. Frame freezes on Aayi's face.
Precap: Court. The Judge opens a file and then asks Sumati why she has given him blank papers to read. Sumati is surprised and says I prepared the papers myself and they are not blank. Judge is irritated and gives the folder back to Sumi. Nandini looks worried and Aayi smiles to herself. (I did not understand this bit either. 😕 Sumi does not have any evidence to show, she should be calling Dr. S as her witness and why should she give her notes to the judge? 😕 Also would you not open and look at the papers before leaving home and then again before handing over to the judge? 😕 I don't get it at all! 😲 )
