Eveyone at the breakfast table, Prapti leaves for college, Dr K tells her to drink juice but prapti says that she is late and hence wont have it today. Prapti says that she cudnt sleep properly yesterday and hence cudnt get up early. Prapti leaves and Gautam taunts that no body can sleep properly because the kid cries every half an hour. Gautam is distressed. Pratham offers him the newspaper to read but Gautam refuses and asks for coffee, he again taunts saying that will he get a cup of coffee or she is too busy with the kid. Nandini arrives with the coffee and Gautam again tells Kalyani that she knows how he likes his coffee. Dr K says that she has prepared the coffee and Nandini has only brought it. Urmila says that dad dosnt like coffee this way and where are the biscuits? Nandini looks on helplessly, Dr K says that she will get the biscuits and asks Nandini to look after the tiffins for Prem & Pratham. Gautam asks Dr K if she has managed to find an orphanage for the kid or is she planning to keep the kid in the house, he says that if she cant find then he can arrange for it. Dr K says that she is trying to which Gautam says that enough of your social service, can you please look after the house? Dr K says that why are you talking like this what if this was Urmila's Kid? On hearing this Urmila gets angry and says that why are you taunting me? What do you mean by if this kid was mine? She is saying this because i dont have kids. Dr K tries to explain that she didnt mean like that but Urmila says that she means exactly that, she brought a daughter in law of her choice, has a orphan in her lap 24/7 and is taunting me. Pratham tries to pacify her but Urmila leaves from there. Pratham goes after her. Dr K is distressed and Gautam also leaves from there.
Nandini offers to clear the table but Dr K stops her and drags her by hand to her room. Once inside the room she confronts Nandini to tell her the truth. She asks her if she had someone in her life before prem, was she in a relationship with someone? What is the big secret of her past that is ruining the lives of everyone. Nandini is crying and confused. She says she dsnt know what Dr K is talking about. Dr K says that inspite of the protests from my family i got u married to prem, My MIL left the house, everyone was unhappy but only for Prem's sake she got them married. She asks if the child is hers and why does the child is very happy when its in her arms. She tells Nandini that from the second day of her marriage the baby came, the letters are coming and also phone calls. She shows her the letters . Nandini is reading the letters and crying.
Urmila is crying and Pratham is telling her to stop. Urmila says that anybody comes and taunts her and she cannot even cry. Pratham tells her that Dr K did not mean it. Urmila says that if someone says something like that to u then how would you feel, nobody cares for her. Urmila says that she has given 7 years to this house, to which Pratham says that in 7 years nobody has told her anything, Urmila says thats what she is saying but since the orphan girl has come all things are going wrong. She says that she wont stay in the house anymore. Pratham says that stop being childish but Urmila says that she wont stop and is about to leave when Gautam comes there. He says that if you want to leave then u can but i have to say that i apologize on behalf of Kalyani. What you are feeling is right but you are the elder DIL of the house and this house is yours. Urmila gets senti and says that you plz dnt apologize , i have utmost love and respect for you but the girl has turned everything topsy turvy. Gautam says that you do not worry i shall talk to Kalyani, i am myself wondering that how can she say like this. He tells urmila that for a two day old relationship we cant let our own people suffer. First my mother left and now all this, he says he will definately speak to Kalyani. Urmi says she wont leave the house and Gautam and Pratham are happy.
Nandini replies that she dsnt know about all this, she dsnt know who is this person or why all this is being said about her. Dr K is also helpless and prays to god that what difficult situation she has got into, and what will she do. Nandini remembers what Dr K told her about listening to her heart, she says that today you listen to your heart and whatever you decide will be accepted by me.
Dr K is also crying and assures Nandini that she will find out everything about the baby and the person behind this. She says that this is the promise of your mother to you. Both hug and DSDV plays in the background. Both come out of the room and Dr K tells Nandini not to tell anyone about their discussion. Urmila hears this and wonders what is the secret. Nandini enters her room and Prem is getting ready, Prem tells Nandini that its wrong that she dsnt spend any time with him, he tells her that its injustice to Prem, Nandini again walks away, Prem makes her sit on the bed and shows her a brochure for Kerala and suggests that they go for Honeymoon there. Nandini is not interested and walks away but Prem stops her and tells that we will get more time for each other and Prem will know why Nandini is so shy and she will know that why Prem is so romantic. And Prem will also know that what is Nandini hiding from her....Screen freezes on Nandini's face
