Watched the episode late night, and didn't get time to post anything then ... so here is my 2 cents about the 1st episode.
First impression - Loved it! Simple characters .. all characters were introduced and the story moved to the next level .. all in one episode! Great going!
Kalyani R - I really liked Neena Gupta. Her playing a doctor, wife and mother with such ease .. and so much warmth in her, loved it! I also liked the sarees she was wearing .. her daughter, Masaba is designing her clothes and it looks good. Loved her relationship with her daughter, hubby .. and Prem. When she's talking to Prem about going to see the girl and he says 'pyar ishq mohabbat'.. loved Kalyani's reaction, her telling her hubby 'Maa ke saath pyar mohabbat ki baatein kar raha hai' hehe!
Gautam R - This character surprised me, and in a very pleasant way! When I first saw the pics, I thought he will be a serious character .. but he turned out to be so much fun! Loved how, when Pratham tells his father not to call Urmila 'bahu' as she gets irritated .. Gautam says 'tabhi toh keh raha hoon' lol! It was cute!
Pratham R - Mihir was so good! Hen-pecked husband, but cute! I've always liked him as an actor, and was so glad to see him in the show. Last saw him in Kumkum, and he played Gaurav/Sharman's brother-in-law ... and here, he's his brother 😊
Urmila R - The first and last I saw of Ashlesha, was in Kyunki .. and acting-wise, nothing much has changed really. As Urmila, even though she came across as a spoilt brat, she did have good reason to be upset and not want to be part of 'See the Girl' mission for Prem! Guess she will come into play after Prem-Nandini get married. I really wanna see Prem's interactions with his bro-bhabhi and sis too.
Aai - Jaishree T was fab! Loved her 'Vitthala Panduranga' and 'Aabhaar' lines .. hehe! And ofcourse, the English words she tries to use .. 'depression' for impression .. and the way she said 'pashri' for pastry!! 🤣
Govind K - Not much shown of Ayub, but whatever there was .. he seemed like a really down-to-earth, humble and peace-loving character, trying to balance his life and relationships.
Pallavi K - I didn't quite like her in the initial promos .. but in the show, she was nice. Guess she will be the one holding the guilt in the forthcoming episodes, and other things surrounding Nandini. Plus, she is Maharashtrian herself .. so her character comes across authentic, especially with the use of Marathi.
Sumati - Abigail was really cute. Complete opposite of Nandini, and I liked that her chirpiness was not OTT. It was cute to see her excited about the guy coming to see her .. hehe!
Nandini - Vandana, for her first show, was good. Her expressions were bang on .. especially in the scenes when she got nervous when Prem touched her and earlier, her reaction to Sumati hugging her. It was a very nice build up to the trauma that will come up later, without it being very noticeable. For those who don't know much of the story, may find it normal considering she is a shy and introvert girl.

LOVE Gaurav - PERIOD. Gaurav has an amazing knack of getting into the skin of the character from the word go. He seems to understand the characters he plays sooo well .. when its on screen, it seems effortless. Loved the basketball scene .. he looked sooo HOT in those aviators 😍 Loved his relationship with his parents .. also the part where he tells his mom 'harmonium nahin...electric guitar' lol! I think the 'momsie' & 'pops' can go .. mom n dad or mama n dad sound better, but from Gaurav.. aahhh .. kuch bhi chalega! hehe!
And yeah .. have to mention this! There is something sooooooo MAGICAL in the way Gaurav/Prem (or the other characters he has played) looks at the girl for the first time! He is mesmerized by the girl .. and I am mesmerised by the way he is mesmerised! lol! He does that sooo convincingly .. you know that the guy is in love! ❤️ And yes .. I'm in love with Gaurav Khanna! *sighhhh*
