First of all I am not writing this as any character's fan. Trying to state a neural and unbiased opinion.
When Teni says 'meri beti' aur someone else says 'teri beti' to Teni, I find it very odd. Technically it is Parth and Shorvori's daughter though Teni has given birth to her. Not just that, even Teni never considered her to be her own daughter, she always kept referring to the unborn baby as PaRi's child, she never thought of taking care of her for the whole life, she never had any feelings for the baby as her own kid.

So just because the biological mother of the baby is not around, how does she become someone else's daughter, how fair is that? If Shorvori was around, would Teni had called the baby 'meri beti', and if she had, how would have Shorvori felt about it..?
I know that even Teni refers to Shorvori as the baby's mother, and I don't find it odd when Teni is referred as the baby's mother. But when you call the baby as your daughter, it is as good as you are claiming your rights on her.. Which in my opinion isn't something right in case of Teni. Not only because she is a surrogate mother, but because she never looked at the baby as hers in past.

I completely agree with you. I'm not saying that Teni shouldn't have any feelings for the baby. I know some people are saying that some fans are confusing and should make up their mind whether they want Teni to have attachment to the baby or not. But this is about the fact that for the entire duration of the pregnancy, the baby was never once her priority. It has always been Parth first. Always. In general, the CVs of this show handled this pregnancy all wrong...I expect illogical things in an indian tv show but for a show where surrogacy was the main focus, they should have kept this pregnancy as realistic as possible.

Getting back to the topic, since before she had never displayed any attachment, now when she does all this affection it's looking forced for the sake of the storyline.

And I think this is why Parth also hasn't let her meet the baby after the birth. Not only because of his anger at her, but because Shorvori wouldn't get to hold that baby or do all the things that she as a mother who was pining for this baby would. And now I think Parth is having a hard time letting Teni take that place, letting Teni have all the things with the baby that Shorvori can't. And of course, I think the family doesn't realize that unknowingly they are fuelling this burning feeling in Parth even more by treating Teni as if she's a bahu and as if she has all the rights on both Parth and the baby. I'm not saying this justifies or excuses Parth's behaviour towards Teni but I am saying that I kind of understand where he is coming from. And honestly, Parth is not someone to hold onto anger and hatred. He has never been that type of person. I think he would have gotten over his anger by now if all the family members, his mother in particular wouldn't keep shoving things down his throat.

If Parth ever wants to be with Teni, let it be on his own terms. Stop forcing the man to move on.

The thing is, the cvs failed epically to show Teni's feelings for the baby all these months. They never bothered to show how involved a mother can get gradually with the baby during the pregnancy period or the trauma a surrogate mother would go through at the thought of giving up the baby to others. With Teni it was all about falling for parth, yearning for him, feel sad at the thought of her inability to have him with her forever, like an obsessive one-side-lover more than focusing on her motherly affection for the baby. So it's hard to digest her abrupt love for the baby and her claim over it, I guess!

Teni has been dreaming of living with Parth and the baby, taking shorvari's place eversince the brain tumour track. And shorvari being the emotional fool she is, fuelled her hopes further without thinking about Parth's feelings even for a moment. So Teni must have said that meri beti keeping all this mind.

Like Saheba said, they failed to show the pregnancy as realistic as possible.. In fact it was more pain for Shorvari than Teni had to experience ever all these while. And since Teni has been an obsessive lover than a pitiable surrogate mother, can't pity her with regards to the baby all of sudden.

I don't know about others, but I did feel sorry for her in yesterday's episode. As a mother whose womb that child lived in for seven months, she deserved some time with the kid. I felt bad when Parth takes off the baby's hand from Teni's finger ruthlessly. Felt he could have been a bit more kind and considerate with her owing to the fact that she is the reason the baby is in front of him today.

However, can also understand where he's coming from. He is mad at her due to his suspicions about shorvari's accident. At present he is also seeing her as an obsessive lover who killed his wife, for her love for him. That fury and pain of betrayal is what making him to behave that way.

if baby girl is really daughter of teni then why teni is called surrogate mother I think surrogate word itself proof that daughter does not belong to teni . before saying Meri beti .teni should read legal contract once agan that u r term as surrogate .and if u don't know meaning of surrogate or u forget meaning of surrogate either ask meaning of surrogacy from lawyer or check meaning of surrogacy from internet or book dictionary

Interesting thought. In a way Parth represents a group of viewers here. Many of us have issues with the current track, not because Teni a surrogate mother has feelings for the baby and claiming her rights on the baby, but because it is difficult to accept that Teni has the whole and sole rights of the baby, replacing Shorvori everywhere. And it was always Shorvori who yearned for that baby, it was always her who wanted to be a mother, Teni's dreams were totally different altogether.
The family, better less said about them. I could understand if that they wanted their son to move on initially, and thought that Teni was the best candidate in given circumstances. But it was a stupidity to force it on him after they got to know that he can't move on, and later he developed even hatred for her. They should have handled the situation very carefully there. Even now they are being bigger fools that he will eventually move on with someone just because he saved her life by giving blood.

A mother's feeling towards her offspring is always beyond, legal , financial, and societal dealings, above logic and legal issues. 😊
She carried the baby in her womb for few months, nourished it with her blood and energy, had a relationship with it by carrying it physically, and connected with it emotionally.
If she says those words Meri Beti with a selfish motive, it is different, then legal aspects will raise valid questions! 😊
No , I am not a fan of any actor / actress, a fan of a woman and her sensitive feelings!😊

I wanted to feel for her there, but I couldn't. Mainly because she continued with her foolishness. She had seen it in the hospital room that Parth isn't still talking to her, still she kept dreaming all about going home and having a happy life with him, the baby and family.. One side she says she understands Parth Shorvori's love for each other and will never want Parth to accept her forcefully. But on the other side she keeps dreaming about being the daughter in law of the family.. Has she even once said to them firmly that she doesn't want to marry Parth and they should stop hoping for anything like that? Here also she was clearly dreaming for impossible things based on her assumptions, without bothering for Parth's wish.

One more thing is that she never accepted that she is also at fault sometimes.. She was putting whole blame on Parth only and was giving herself a clean cheat. And her claims that she wants to take care of the girl for whole life wasn't a truth, she never wished for that earlier, even after the baby birth. So, though I knew that Parth isn't right in not allowing Teni see the baby even once, I couldn't sympathize with Teni there.

The problem is cvs dint bother to handle the pregnancy track sensibly...Teni wanting to hold the child and wanting to claim rights on it is not wrong at all..she has rights over the kid...but then...since she never showed any deep attachment or affection towards the kid since the beginning of the show...her sudden emotions though it might be genuine..its hard to relate and feel for her...
For teni baby was a tool to make parth do things for her..and she get close to him...it has always been parath for her..baby pari shorvari were all secondary..or do i say non existent 🥱
Instead of showing her develop emotions for the life growing inside her...showing the growing insecurities of giving away the baby once its delivered...the writers were too busy showing her obsession over parth...its gone to such an extent..even her genuine want of holding the baby as a mother looks like her selfish motive to clinge to parth and dream about becoming his wife...
And one more reason why we dont feel like sympathising with teni...we feel that all these rights and dreams were shorvari's...and without shorvari living those dreams and experiencing these small joys..we find is totally unfair that teni is getting it all...that too without any sacrifice or pain(i am referring to the pain of giving up something thats very close to you because of some circumstances) we just hate the fact that teni is getting everything at the cost of the wife's death and tears...
And parth's behaviour...like saheba said...i also felt its not mere hatred thats making him hard on teni...he suddenly doesnt want teni to get all these happiness and rights which are shorvari's...he feels that without shorvari getting all the happiness of the dreams she once upon a time saw..teni shouldnt get either...he doesnt want the place of the baby's mother to be given to teni anymore...i cud see that hesitation in the hospital...and for this the family is to be blamed..where they are happily giving away everything of shorvari's to teni including the rights on parth and baby..that makes him want to keep her away all the more...
I agree parth is being unreasonable(i still cudnt sympathise with teni here..sorry...be it as a woman..or a human...because that lady never showed any emotions for the baby..or anyone..for her only her welfare her happiness and how she can win over parth's heart mattered..there has always been some selfish motive of hers knowingly or unknowingly in whatever she did) he shud have let her see the baby and shower her love...but him asking her to leave owing to the deal isnt a crime imo...thats how surrogacy deals work here...and parth isnt wrong in feeling that his wife's rights over the child and him cant be given aise hi to teni...the only mistake of parth is not allowing teni to hold the kid and live some moments with it owing to some misunderstanding...
And sadly...these bhanusali house women need some psychiatric treatment...why cant they just let things be the way it is for parth...why to force things on him which he doesng want to oblige to? Doesnt he have any rights to live his life the way he wants to...what he does post his wife's death..and his child is solely his decision..a family that never stood by him in hard times when his wife passed away or when he was actually living a happy life abandoned by them..have no rights to make him do things now because he has got a child...
