Siddharth Shukla talks about his new show Dil Se Dil Tak
Actor Siddharth Shukla, who was last seen as a host on India's Got Talent, is back on television with a new show called Dil Se Dil Tak. The story of the show dwells on the sensitive issue of surrogacy.
Siddharth says that it came as a surprise "I got a call from the production house so I went and talked to them. I liked the story so I accepted it," he says adding that he loved the storyline, "But it also has to do a lot with the channel and the production team. They are great people to work with."
The good-looking actor says that he's able to understand what goes on in his character's mind. "It hasn't been very long since I've been playing Parth. But it's good. I understand the character and its emotions. Also, everybody works hard on the sets. We are like a bunch of people who want to perform well and want a good product. They all are very dedicated towards their craft," he says.
Sidharth made a Bollywood debut with Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania. He was liked in the film and everybody expected to see him more on the big screen. But till now he hasn't signed any new projects. "Well, it depends. If a good subjects comes to me and if it's something I would love to do then I will take it up. But so far, nothing good has come," he explains.
