I do not see Dadaji as the antagnist! Just a man with strict principles! Honestly i have met people like him in real life. For them nothing comes above their own principles and such people know how to hold a grudge for years. One of my friend's parents have gone through slightly same drama when they got married against the wishes of their family. It was only after her birth that her parents were welcomed back in the family

Anyone got reminded of SRK-Kajok from Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gum seeing the couple in first episode? I so wish they would have shifted to America though. 😆
