WU of his interview [as people asked for it]:
The reporter asks him if he's leaving the show to which his answer is yes. She asks about the reason and he says that he attended the Bell Bajao campaign and spoke about many issues subjected to the channel -- and they let him go.
The reporter asks him why he's leaving at such a high point on the show, and he explains that shows are dissimilar. Some have stories and anything can be shown, but then some are associated with an issue and you can't show just anything. He then begins to explain it in relation to Sia's characterization, but decides not to delve further into it and just stick to the point which is that he's been permitted to leave and he's content with that.
The reporter asks whether he's planning to come back on TV because his fans only got to see him for a short while. To this, he answers that as of now he's tired because of what's happened and he'll take a break, but he can't sit at home for long and so he will be back soon.
The reporter asks him about his favorite co-star that he wants to work with again. He says that they've all been good and they've all had their own way. He says that as an actor, SJ is absolutely mind-blowing and that she comes from the "old school". He says that as for working with a co-star again isn't in his hands.
The reporter persists. Who is his favorite co-star? He smiles and says "all of them". They have all worked hard and as a combined force on each show and that without them, he would not be here now.
The reporter says that love stories have been the base of his shows. She asks if there is any other genre that wants to work in. He explains that it's not so much the genre as the story that he looks at. He wouldn't do an out-and-out action, comedy, etc. but parts of the genres in one show is fine and that it's really the story that matters the most to him.
The reporter says that he has a huge fanfollowing in other countries like the US and PK. HC jokes that it's why people don't recognize him on the streets in India. The reporters asks him what he has to say about his global fanfollowing. He smiles and says that he's very happy about knowing that he has a fanfollowing globally.
The reporters says that a few fans from PK messaged them that they love him. He put his hand on his heart, speechless. Then says that he works hard for his work to be liked and for the people who watch to be happy. He says that he likes to believe that he can give them happiness for some minutes, make them forget their problems for some minutes.
The reporter asks what he has to say to his fans and mentions some who are upset about his leave. He says that people have supported his decision and from there he's gotten some courage. He says that this is the first time that he's leaving a show in the middle of it. He explains that he had to do it and that he's sure everyone knows he wouldn't have done it if he'd had an option.
He asks his fans to keep praying and that he'll keep working and that hopefully he will be back soon.
