Exactly. Now what?

Actually, I'm really disappointed that Viraj regaining his memory has only led him back to him being a psychotic villain.

Why can't Viraj be a reformed character?

How many more episodes are they going to show with Viraj doing damage, only damage.

In real life people do realize that they have been bad, and they can and do try to become better human beings.

I know of someone whose husband was Viraj-like, by that I mean abusive physically, mentally, emotionally, practically, and he dumped her for another woman even though they have 3 daughters, (which also is part of the abuse-syndrome). But, having remarried the once abusive husband behaves himself with his second wife.

A person will not change fundamentally, but certainly can change from bad to an O.K. person.

My mom is unhappy. She liked the baby Viraj 😆, and I will really miss him too. Viraj did go back to the baby Viraj as well but that was obviously fake. But, once again, KVB did such an amazing job! When he was giving shocks to that male nurse but also giving the reasons of why he's receiving the shocks was so beautifully acted!

Reason 1: Oh crap, I forgot this one. 😆
And then the facial expression he makes while giving the shock treatment.

Reason 2: I don't like anything dirty. Next time clean the blood up.
And then the facial expression he makes while giving the shock treatment.

Reason 3: And you certainly must be educated. Why don't you read the board that says, 'No cellphones allowed'?
And then the facial expression he makes while giving the shock treatment.

Ahhh! KVB was just too good. 😳

@Bold: Yes. I was shocked too.

So no redemption for Viraj.

There were umpteen opportunities in the story to "Reform" Viraj. I can think of at least two.

1. When Viraj faced his alter ego in the Singh household when he faked amnesia. He clearly intended to take Jahnavi back with him only if/when she was ready to come back to him of her own free will. At that point Raghav still was a distant figure in Jahnavi's mind. But Viraj did not change. All his interactions with his alter ego (which KVB performed brilliantly) all came to naught.

2. After the electric shock treatment and his regressed persona, Viraj could very well have woken up (after being buried alive in a coffin) and found some kind of enlightenment. But this opportunity was also not utilized by the CVs. No self reflection on Viraj's part. Or may be that's yet to come.

@Critical: Can't agree more on that.
It doesn't have to be perfact ending of husband wife.. but they can atleast show..that ppl changes over time... obviously if they didn't have story they wouldn't be making him back to normal (which in this case..happend really quickly...) i mean suffocation...and then regaining all his past..including R/S/J ..it's kind of sudden.. i was expecting it but not this way i guess.. i am not sure how precise that is medically...but yes..i am VERY happy with this change in story.. and hopefully they have something to show..😊

I don't see this discussion as pointless. The story should end with either:

1. Viraj as Ravan = death of viraj in the end

or

2. Viraj as Valmiki = Viraj as the highway robber and murderer "Ratnakar," who eventually undergoes penance and self reflection and turns into the sage Valmiki, who is the author of Ramayana.

After nearly a year of this serial and no sight of any reformation of Viraj, I thought his character would come to an end in conjunction with the end of the Dussehra festival when Ravana's effigies are burnt in many parts of India.

Now the time has passed for that to happen; however, the serial would be too long drawn out if they begin Viraj's redemption from Ratnakar to Valmiki, at this late stage.

The show seems to have lost most of its viewers.

P.S. So how is the show going to end anyway?

Producers are lucky that there are no TRPs now, this serial would have been below 0.6. What a meaningless and collosal waste of good acting talents. The Director should seek alternative employment as a studio spot boy or something.
