I said it when the first article came out that HC won't go public unless he was serious about it ... and once he went public it meant he did not want to stay part of the show any more no matter what! As for us boycotting yes we did and we don't regret it a wee bit, being women ourselves we could not support the crap they were dishing out!!!

I mentioned KVB because the topic maker made post on viraj and how she loved viraj today so i talked abt karanvir's work there and as i never talked abt HC in my post till she posted so asked her not to mention abt him ...hope it got clear

They didn't focus on Raghav and Sia or dedicate a track to them. You see, even with their few omantic moments here and there, their entire track was dependent on V, as always -- the focus was everywhere, but not on them adjusting to their marriage or any of that sort.

Common Ana would have agreed this point if it was pre leap but post leap when they are showing 5 min of viraj and 20 min of raghav-sia still claiming its dependent on viraj is funny😆

The thing people wanted to see and waited months to see was their track independent of V. The proof of how they didn't care to focus on Raghav and Sia or sell their romance, it's obvious from how they skipped their entire journey, jumped into marriage, and even post leap, they squeezed in a rain sequence and otherwise filled their lives with doom and full on gloom. Where was the time to show their relationship development which is what the viewers wanted and waited for? Which is what would've attached viewers to the romance through their relationship.

Romance alone doesn't sell on any show. There has to be relationship growth, a process, focus on the characters journey and attachment and eventual bond.

Furthermore, they didn't even try to write scenes for Raghav and Sia that were deep and held true to their characters -- they used scenes such as maang fill and whatnot because they didn't want to waste their time thinking up romantic scenes for Raghav and Sia. Everything was rushed and out of focus -- darkness always looming. The darkness that people were sick of in the first place and left for.
So now u ppl agree that "characterisation is important " more than screen space ...shouldn't that apply to viraj then ? how is that u only see it for raghav-sia ? 🥱

If you skip a relationship's journey entirely and then alter the show until people can't even recognize it anymore, then naturally romantic moments alone won't sell. People need to connect with the characters and their relationship through its growth/journey. Raghav and Sia have been a hit from the start. Considering how little romance was shown, their fanbase grew larger and larger. And it hasn't even stopped growing yet. You can't blame the characters for not selling when it's the creatives who haven't been able to execute the story right, unable to give them the space and focus needed. HC and SJ's chemistry alone gripped viewers -- some who were even against the pairing in the start.
Have no problem if ppl love romance or attracted to the pair 🥱 but as she was talking abt "they couldn't sell baby viraj " thing, i mentioned that there was also romance connected to it wid that track and focus on it was more compartively so its not like u gonna blame viraj and leave other things there ...

Not talking about the minutes here. If we start talking about minutes, then I can prove a lot of points on how V doesn't sell alone. I'm talking about independent and focused tracks.

It was the performances that sold it, Anthena. Not the screenplay or execution. The actors had great chemistry and that intrigued. But people waited for their relationship to progress and that progress to be shown, not skipped.

First of all, V is the character who has gotten most character development on this show. I believe that the writers have, in fact, overexposed him. They've tried everything. But they couldn't make people accept anything but his evil style.

Characterization is essential. But without proper screenspace, it's hard to show significant character growth as well. You have to combine both. Raghav and Sia never got their due on the show, and it's a fact. However unwilling people are about admitting it. There's solid proof in how their journeys were skipped, individually as well as joined.

No one's blaming V, as far as I can tell. It's how the creatives have dealt with the show as well as its characters that's the problem. They screwed things up with V long back, gave him way too much importance on a show that was supposed to be the voice of a victim. Just like they screwed with Raghav and Sia by skipping large portions of their journey and downplaying it to a ridiculous extent.

Not only that look at Seiti jha last two status update it shows that she is also not happy but she is bound by her contract so even though she wants to quit she can't. We do not know any of actor agreement so how any one knows what is really happening behind the scene.

So every actor has a different situation. When HC took this show he said he took this show because it has message attached to it so he took it and when he realized that it is not going in that direction and decided to quit then nothing wrong it that. He already even said that ph, channel waited him to stay but he did not change his decision and did not want to continue
