The episode begins with Sia staring at her mother as she puts on her sindhoor, she has flashbacks of her as Jhanvi, applying her sindhoor. Uma sees her daughter in the mirror and turns to her, telling her that she knows what the value of the sindhoor was in her life and what it is now. She says that today in court, she will finally receive release from all relations from him and then her life will be full of new happiness.

They hug and Uma silently prays for the colours to include the red to signify the sindhoor. So that someone will come in her life that God has made only for her and who will love her the most in the world.

Raghav is shown to be on the phone and is stood in the doorway of the room. He watches as Sia and Uma are hugging and enters the room silently. He hesitantly tells both Sia and Uma about Viraj hanging himself when Uma asks him what's wrong. Sia turns to Uma in confusion.

The next scene is of the police woman, in the hospital, questioning 4 of her police officers about where Viraj managed to get the rope from. She warns them to tell her or else.. Raghav and Sia enter and Sia tells her that none of them will tell her. Viraj knows very well how to buy people with his money and his fear. The policewoman says that she was giving them their last chance. She says it doesn't matter, she'll catch the culprit herself she'd make their state worse than Viraj. The policemen stand there, looking fearful.

Raghav says there's one thing he can't understand, as much as he knows Viraj, he can take other's lives, but not his own. The policewoman tells him that she knows and he's perfectly normal, his heartbeat is normal. But the government rules are that he has to be kept under 24 hour observation. Sia asks to meet Viraj and the policewoman nods in approval.

Sia enters the room and Viraj is unconscious. She asks him what he thought would happen? That he'd pretend to die and everyone would be fooled? That as soon as she'd hear she'd run and start crying for him. She tells him that there are no tears left for him. Only hate. So he'd better end the pretence and get up. She knows that he isn't unconscious. His eyes may be closed, but his ears are open, so listen carefully. She tells him that by pretending he can stop himself from going to the court but he can't stop her from getting her divorce. Whether you sign, or not and whether you turn up or not, she'll get the divorce. And that too, today! So maybe this last meeting was necessary. To tell him that there was nothing good between them, but whatever bad had happened, will be over today. Forever. And she leaves. Viraj sits up at once and scowls.

Gayatri, Uma, Komal and Taashu are all the courthouse with the lawyer. Gayatri says it's been a while, Raghav and Sia should be there already. Komal sees them coming and informs Gayatri.

Gayatri asks Raghav what happened at the prison and Raghav tells her that Viraj is acting and nothing has happened to him and Sia adds that he did this so that he wont have to come to court. Uma asks what will happen now? And if the judge will put the date forward because Viraj has not attended. Sia assures her mother that they will do something. They will talk to the judge and he'll surely understand them. The lawyer tells them that they need to go inside as the case is about to begin.

Everyone takes their seats and the judge orders for them to proceed. Jhanvi's lawyer gives the judge Sia's papers. Viraj's lawyer tells the judge that Viraj isn't at the court and that he tried to commit suicide. Raghav clenches his fist in anger and then Sia's lawyer tells the judge that this is merely a drama to delay the court case and waste court time. The judge says without both parties, the court can't proceed.

Raghav is outraged and stands up to confront the judge and asks him why not? A wife has been suffering from her husband's misbehaviour and she has come to the law for justice and he's saying it can't happen? The judge demands order but Raghav continues and says that because the husband has played a pretense of committing suicide and is in hospital. The judge tells Raghav to sit down but Raghav tells the judge that Viraj will not come today, tomorrow or even the day after! And will never come! So will she never get her divorce? The judge warns him that he'll be charged with contempt of court if he doesn't keep quiet. Raghav wants to continue but Gayatri tells him to sit down and he does so and she tells him to control himself.

The judge tells everyone that the other party is not present so they need to delay proceedings but Sia jumps up and pleads with the judge not to do this. She asks him to just let her speak once. She tells him that she has full faith in the law but not in the man who has made a mockery of the law. Sia tells the judge to at least let her tell him why she wants the divorce. But the judge tells her to wait until the next hearing. But Sia won't take no for an answer and tells him that she won't let Viraj play with her life anymore. She tells the judge if he doesn't want to listen to her, fine, but at least watch this' and she goes to put the DVD into the player and the judge tells two police women to stop her or else he'll dismiss the case here. Just as they are about to stop her, the DVD plays and Viraj's atrocities are shown as everyone watches in shock and disgust.

Viraj is at the hospital, enjoying his meal, dreaming that he'll never get a divorce from Jhanvi.

At the court, the policewoman that arrested Viraj tells the judge that aside from the domestic violence, kidnapping and attempted murder charges have been brought against Viraj. She hands the judge a report which states that the CD has not been tampered with. A man approaches the judge with a report on Viraj's mental health. And that he has been seen by Dr. Komolika already. Another man approaches the judge with yet another report stating Viraj's mental state after he "attempted suicide" his pulse, rate and nervous system are all normal, which means that the suicide attempt was faked.

Sia's lawyer's assistant shows a book to the lawyer and he stands up, requesting to show a previous case of how a wife was granted a divorce when the husband wasn't present. The judge makes notes and Raghav sits there impatiently as everyone waits to hear the judge's answer.

The judge announces after seeing the evidence and hearing the witnesses, the court comes to the conclusion that Jhanvi Dobriyal is a victim of Domestic Violence at the hands of her husband and is granted her divorce. Everyone is happy, Sia is in a state of shock as the judge adjourns the court.

Sia collapses on the seat, in tears. Raghav goes to put his hand on her shoulder but stops himself. Uma comforts her daughter and tells her that she has won. She tells Sia not to cry. she is free. Uma hugs her tightly. Raghav is shown with tears in his eyes and nods at her and he smiles as she smiles back.

Viraj is in his own world as a police officer disturbs him and tells him that he has a call. It's a lawyer, who tells him he has lost the case. Viraj sits up in shock and is confusion, disgust and plain shock! He ends up laughing manically and going on about how the law cannot end his marriage.

Sia is pacing in her room, lost in her own world. Raghav sees her and knocks on her door and asks why she's worried. She sits down and tells him that she doesn't know what to do next. After succeeding a meaning of her life, she doesn't know what to do next. After her marriage, fulfilling that marriage became the meaning of her life. Then after running away, saving her life and her family's lives became the meaning of her life. And then getting justice became the meaning of her life. And now when she has the justice, she doesn't know what to do. What will become of her?

Raghav tells her that no one knows what will happen. He doesn't know either. But he knows what she should do now. He tells her to come with him and she follows him to the mirror. She looks at him confused and then does as she's told. He tells her to look at herself, she turns to look at Raghav but he tells her to look at herself. She does so. He tells her to smile and she fakes a faint smile. He tells her to smile fully and properly, but she does the same thing as before. He tells her to smile from her heart, to forget the world and smile. But she can't. Raghav gets an idea and tells her to close her eyes and she does so. He tells her to remember the person who makes her happiest and tells her to smile. Sia has a flashback of a moment with Raghav and smiles properly, a full beam and when she opens her eyes, she turns to look up at Raghav, who looks back at her and they share an eyelock

Gayatri and Uma look on from the door. Gayatri looks worried but Uma is smiling fully at Raghav and Sia. Sia looks away from Raghav nervously.

Uma and Gayatri join Komal and Taashu outside. Gayatri and Uma both start speaking at the same time and Komal notices that they want to talk and tells them that she will go and get coffee for them both and Gayatri nods and Komal asks for Taashu's help and they walk off to listen from afar.

Gayatri turns to Uma and hesitantly tells her that Raghav loves Sia and if she doesn't mind, then Gayatri wants to move forward with this matter. Uma tells Gayatri that there is nothing to mind about it and she also thinks that Sia feels the same, but Sia just can't understand whether what she feels for Raghav is love or whether it's her past that is stopping her.

Gayatri tells Uma that she'd be happy if Sia became her daughter in law. She wants Sia to take the decision herself, she doesn't want to pressurise her. Uma says they should give Sia some time. Maybe she'll come to the decision herself and she'll come to them herself. Gayatri nods in agreement.

Komal tells Taashu that the matter is held up by Sia. Taashu says that they should do something and Komal agrees and both walk off, smiling.

The last scene is of Viraj drawing some kind of plan on the hospital bedsheet admitting that he hasn't come to the hospital hide from the law, but to run from the law. And repeating his usual dialogue of, "I'm coming jaan..."

Thanks for the update Lub!
Glad that the CVs are showing us how small things also remind Sia of her horriable past! I hope they will show us how she grow over that past and move on in life!

For the first time my mom spoke about, in great detail, how they should have focused on Viraj's treatment.

This was during the scene where Viraj was drawing some plan on the bed sheets and she looks at him and goes, "Is he ever going to get treated?"

Me, "What do you mean? (trying to be innocent).

Mom, "I thought they were going to show Viraj getting treated. He will get better, realize his mistakes, realize what he did to Jhanvi, and let her go. (Let her go in the sense that, she's already gone, but he would let her go willingly from himself and not trouble her anymore.)That would have been so beautiful. I thought they were going to go with that route in regards to Viraj but it doesn't seem like it's happening."

Then she started saying, "What is this that they're showing? Why isn't he getting treated?" and went on like that for a while. When she saw Viraj plotting she said this was "stupid". 😆

Honestly, the CVs have made a total mess of this show. My mom and I have been regular viewers of this show from the beginning and I'm sure, not just us, but every regular viewer of this show was waiting to see Viraj get treated and become positive.

The CVs have absolutely messed this show up.

Also, someone PLEASE tell me Uma didn't just call Jhanvi "Sia"?? I wasn't quite paying attention but then it suddenly hit me that she may have said Sia in the place of Jhanvi! 😲

Thanks for the update! :)

Oh and also, was it me or was the court scene rushed?

Judge: "Oh it can't happen today. Viraj isn't here."
Raghav: "WHAT?! Why can't you grant her a divorce?? *does his usual, fighting for injustice blah*
*cut to Viraj in the hospital and then back*
Jhanvi: "Wait! I'll show you what he did to me." *inserts video clip*
*People keep handing the judge official documents regarding various things*
Judge: "Alright. I grant you a divorce!"

Like... seriously? I expected something much better, much much better executed. That court scene seemed choppy and rushed. I didn't enjoy it one bit neither did I care after Jhanvi got divorced. I felt so cold and unconnected after. I just knew, I've said this in the past, that once Jhanvi gets justice I won't feel anything because of her stupidity these past few months.

Finally, a great day. Jhanvi gets her divorce, and this saga is over. That was the one positive from last night.

The courtroom drama, as Mystic pointed out, was surreal. A judge just summarily is about to dismiss the case, and a laywer from one of the sides points out the law to him? So this serial is bent on demonstrating India as a tinpot country where not only anybody and everybody can be bribed, but also, judges don't know the law until lawyers point it out to them. This whole drama about the judge refusing, Raghav getting unhinged, Jhanvi somehow inserting a DVD into the player just in time before the cop can stop her, and the DVD starting w/ her shrieks so that everybody is fixated on that - was a sham. Only positive - at the end of it all, Jhanvi gets her divorce.

On the Raghav-Sia scene, I was happy that Gayatri & Uma both agreed to give Raghav & Sia their time, and honestly, that would have been fine. Having just got her divorce, Jhanvi would be in no mood to think about marriage. However, those 2 busybodies - Komal and Tashu - now have to try & rig events so that Sia says yes sooner rather than later. 🥱 Oh, whatever...

The precap showed Viraj stabbing a ward-boy w/ a syringe in the neck. It was probably a tranquilizer. So he'll make good his escape, and I guess a final confrontation b/w him & Raghav will be next.

A good episode in terms of moving the story forward to a logical point, but messy in terms of how it got there, and how it's going on.
