I don't think they'll be covering those scenes before the leap, Nads. They don't have time.

Hope is folly when dealing with this show, Sara. That's why I'm done hoping.
The leap might take place on Monday -- at least that's what I think. I don't see how they're going to make it happen tomorrow as Sia still hasn't confessed her love to Raghav. We've also yet to see the divorce go through.
Let's see if Komal's abuse is somehow distinctive from Sia's. For one thing, I find it really interesting how Komal has dealt differently than Sia. Whereas Sia did become detached, in a way, she was still emotionally tangled up. Komal is very cold, very detached, and it's hard for her to show affection naturally. She has dealt differently with her own abuse and lost a part of herself in the process, it seems.
I wonder if they'll explore it at some point.

If they decide to explore it, I think it would be good if the writers differentiated between Komal & Sia's DV experiences. Preferably they should take a more realistic approach with Komal showing that not all abusers are larger then life and/or have mental disorders. This would at least do some justice to the DV theme they started the show with.

Fantastic point.
I'd like to see them deal with it in a more realistic manner as well. Without glorifying abusers, or attempting to make them worthy of sympathy/pity.
Plus there are other forms of abuse and I'd like to see them explored in relation to Komal. It would be interesting if they showed how damaging emotional/verbal abuse can be. Though V has emotionally abused Jahnvi as well.
