Please refrain from basher/provocative behavior.
I had one purpose with opening this thread and it's to know the reasons why people don't want a leap on the show. Share/list your reasons. Please try to elaborate. No one-liners.

Because it makes no sense

1) Where is Raghav Sia's story it has not really even started yet and they want to take away six initial years of it? Don't tell me there was never meant to be any because its not me who introduces Raghav with all the hoo haa in the show, it were you guys!!! And don't tell me they think RaghavI don't sell ... if so its better they wrap up the show and do something else ... that is what brings freshness to show, makes it charming
2) Why take away RaghavI freshness when their chemistry has not even been explored?
3) And don't tell me RaghavI were never meant to be ... because it was not us who introduced Raghav with all the hoo haa it were you guys only
4) Where is Raghav's story ... where is his past? What about Krish, his voice, his story?
5) Where is Sia's journey and steps towards starting a new life once V is gone for good, out of her life? There would be a lot she will go through don't you think so? The realization he is gone ... how she wants to move on in life ... how her married life would start with all the scary stuff of her past ... how she moves ahead ... how she builds her relationships afresh with the access baggage ... after all its her story ... jhanvi ki kahani ... remember anyone? ... what about fighting a divorce case?
6) Is the leap to give V a new life? ... ummm don't you feel giving him a break for sometime is actually what might give his character a new life? Because what is always on your screen eventually looses charm. V is an important part of this show, integral one but he is like spice not the whole dish ... no one spice can ever be the whole dish
7) Is it to V turn positive? It will never work in this show!
8) To get rid off Raghav? .. All the best is all i want to say 🥱
9) Is it to bring back J and V ... good luck or is it to bring KB in a new role for J ... good luck for that too 🥱🥱 (in this show and its mechanism it won't work)

There is a lot left still to be explored in characters and in the storyline ... leap only exhausts the possibilities of story development and characters ... what if leap does not work? There is no coming back where as if you go ahead and handle current track well you have multiple possibilities

And why a leap has to be 7 years ... 7 years are so long ... i mean its not like you will get a new generation so new freshness

They showed crap for so long, repeated stuff, over and over again and now when there is something good finally ... story is becoming interesting ... you finally see progress in RaghavI relationship for which you waited for months ... you find some positivity to look forward to ... they are going for a leap ... WOW

Since we're not exactly sure how the 2nd Sept ME will turn out, the story post leap can go three ways majorly, and whichever way I can think of it -- a leap is damaging in whichever case. Leaps are usually options used when you have very little of a story left and used every option and character you have. Anytime before that and it does nothing but leave you a little clueless about how things turned out the way they did.

As far as I can see, there are TRUCKLOADS of issues to be dealt with whichever way you go, and there is lots of story left to cover. If a leap took place...logically, Jhanvi could end up with either of the men, OR manage to leave alone and make her own life, with Raghav's blessing. But whichever way you look at it, a leap will leave either scenario looking like something is missing.

IF JHANVI LIVES ON HER OWN:

1. There is clearly a psychological journey that hasn't yet reached its logical conclusion. Just because she can threaten Viraaj, or calmly lie right to his face, doesn't make her healing process complete. This is clearly her story, and skipping it for a leap just causes us to lose out.

2. No matter how drawn out it might be, people would like to *be* with Jhanvi as she makes her journey alone and the mistakes she makes. She may take up a job, she may join a social work group in attempt to help people stuck in situations like hers, she may become anything...but showing this without a leap would help people connect a lot more with her journey. As it is, the lack of focus on her and her thought process has made it tough for the average viewer to gauge why she is the way she is...a leap will only leave many of us feeling hollow because everytime we try sussing her out, we get very little in return.

3. What skills does she learn? How does she learn them? How does she get beyond what she suffered? Right now she has the desire to punish Viraaj for his crimes as a necessary drive to push her towards that, but after that...what? Once she's finished her mission, it's not like life is going to conveniently become all roses and gummy bears. She's going to have a hard time figuring out questions with regards to herself, her own regrets, what she may want to do next. I don't want to conveniently skip that tough journey as far as 7 years. I WANT to see how she gets there, because I - as are others - are personally interested in that journey.

IF RAGHAVI HAPPENS

1. Again, Jhanvi's own healing process is important here. If she does end up getting married to him...or chooses to do so, and we're not even shown how her healing process develops after that, then what's the point of making it her story?

2. How does the relationship develop beyond this? She can't fall for him the minute she actually marries him. Love is something this woman cannot respond very positively to. She's scared crapless of the prospect. It would be better for us to see her GET to that stage rather than find out she's reached there already without knowing what finally got her there. Also- if she does fall for him at some point - her falling in love doesn't mean she has truly healed. Remember, this woman is bound to have trust issues and is still bound to make a mess of her relationships. A leap will skip those essential awkward first years. Even with her loving Raghav, she IS going to have issues, things might randomly come back to her, there will be things about her Raghav might not understand. These are essential when you're talking about a victim like that starting life with another person. Jhanvi is going to have problems, so will Raghav. I can easily see Raghav trying hard to figure out why she may react a certain way to something and still not be able to get it until Jhanvi finally tells him. I can see them getting frustrated with each other and still making an effort. The relationship depiction needs those little touches, and a leap doesn't exactly do it enough justice.

3. There are a whole bunch of unresolved issues within this particular plot before a leap can even feel satisfying: Krish's muteness, Raghav's tension with his mother, the Singhs' past, how Tanisha may either patch it up with Sia or make her more miserable, whichever way her character's supposed to go.

IF V/J HAPPENS:

I'd hate to see this at all, but I'm just throwing it in there for a lark. If Viraaj stays the way he is, obviously it becomes stagnant and just a repetition of what we'd seen in the first few months. Plus, it wouldn't adequately answer the question of why J bothered to stay, esp when she's a lot wiser with regards to him right now. If he does turn positive...won't make much sense either. I don't see her wanting to have anything to do with him even then. I don't think this would happen...because there is actually little scope now for that kind of a storyline.

As such, I feel having a leap that would go as far as 7 years will do nothing but rob us of a whole lot of potential storyline that is better resolved in the timeline the story is presently in. I feel a leap would dilute that. IMHO.

will take away show's actual essence

There are so many unanswered question that CVs can work on it.

1) What about Raghav's past

2) What about Krish's voice

3) Sia's Divorce

4) Most important development of Raghav and Sia's relation

5) What about Tashu turning negative

6) Viraj's punishment

I think CVs has lost it and after so many craps such as redundant scenes of Viraj and Sia, comedy circus, Joker, Spiderman, dual personality story got back on track. I Can't even believe that after getting back on track, giving such wonderful episodes CVs came up with nonsense idea of LEAP.

If CVs are thinking that after punishment they will make Viraj positive then this will not work at all. People liked him only in negative character. Where did show's actual concept go? Is this show to support domestic violence or promote the actual domestic violence and teaching male dominant world how to torture, abuse their wife.

Forgot that reserved the place so just post it again here too

because a leap is the last thing this story needs right now

frankly...i started watching this show only for hc...and later for raghavii...
raghavii love story is that one think that has made me tolerate all the crap shown in the past few months...
watching a rapist and a joker on screen is not wat i look forward to...to watch everyday on my tv screen...
past few weeks made me hope that finally that day will come wen v will be out of the picture...get punished...and the story will concenterate on raghavii...their future together...
there is so much that needs to be explored...that can be explored...
but this leap is going to spoil everything...
a leap happens wen there is nothing more to show...there is no story left...
here we have so many things left to be explored...y is kish in shock.y can't he speak
wat is raghav's guilt
how did dev die?
will sia be able to lead a normal married life again after the scars given by v?
will sia ever love raghav?
i don't know...but losing 7 precious yrs of one life is something which sounds ridiculous...
agree v is an imp part of the storyline...but thats just an assumption of the cvs/channel...
did they ever try showing a track minus v??
see if they r doing it for trps...last week we saw a marginal increase...a week where the full focus was on raghavi marrg...a week which showed v's downfall...
this means ppl r looking forward to a story minus v...or something where v is treated as a villain who will see his downfall some day...
cvs should take it as a cue...
but still if they want to dig their own grave...nobody can stop them🥱

i agree with @bizzylizzy...the show is still young..many avenues have yet to be explored!! mainly Krish's muteness komal's past..dev-raghav equation...gayatri-raghav turmoil...gayatri sheqawat chatis ka aakda, raghav's love life...raghavi journey viraj's pat his life his reasons for mental illness..above all sia/jhanvi's journey from hell to normal life!!...we saw S/J struggling...but not happy only!! i mean this show is her struggle..so we NEED to be with her in this journey!! what is the use creating so many story arcs which is never gonna be addressed at all
leap is not answer to everything..i mean people used to go for leap once they exhausted all possibiliteis of story devlopment..and also to increase show's longevity kno😲

Right. So when the characters of Viraj, Sia and Raghav have reached a point where we can see new shades to them, bring in a ' leap ' to garner TRP's 🥱

My like button isn't woking but Bizzy has penned everything that i feel so beautifully <3

I have said it before , and i shall say it again GET Jahnvi to sever all ties with Viraj legally. The legal battle that unfolds could be portrayed in an a very fresh , and new manner. Do not get me started with what the CV's could have done to develop Raghavendra Singh futher .

I want to see something like counselling for Jahnvi, Something truly pathbreaking. I still want to see Jahnvi's interactions with women in the ashram. I want to See Viraj go beyond that point of no return, To see something positive happening for the people he has damaged beyond repair. (i.e His sister )

The list is endless ...
And they show a seven year leap ... i mean Really. 😳
