The main reason was Raghav's bail.
Viraj's 21 phera- re-remarriage to Jahnavi was mostly for stretching out the story. Viraj could have easily kidnapped Jahnavi and gone through the ritual of marriage. Why is Viraj so obsessed with the marriage ritual? It's pathological. Did his father NOT marry his mother, and kept her as his mistress? Is that why Viraj is obsessed with the marriage rituals?
But, why are J and R shown as being married on the day of the bail, considering that they were supposed to have already gotten married at least a couple of weeks ago in a temple (at the most inopportune moment when Sundar was nearly stabbed to death)? How come J and R are now all of a sudden a married couple, albeit fake and at the instigation of a lying, manipulative, overly made up woman in her 40s who calls herself a psychiatrist?
This also raises the question of when exactly did J's fake husband (no, not Raghav, although he is also a fake husband to Jahnavi) die? How many husbands will Jahnavi have? She has 3 already. Now we need to move from the Ramayana to the Mahabharata, and make Sita a Draupadi.
Actually, what exactly is going on in SB? Still, one good thing is the story is moving forward and we have started to get some answers.
