Ana ... thanks for the feed back dear 😊

It was a wholesome episode today... well balanced... each character had the time and space to grow.

1) Siya being remorseful at having to have lied to Gayatri and the other Singhs in the household was a much needed scene... Having to lie to someone who trusts you to the core can be heartwrenching... and that's what she was going through.

2) Raghav trying to lighten the burden of thoughts of Siya by his humor and the way it backfired was funny yet touching.

3) The fact that Raghav did not forget his friend in all these days was much needed... what with us all bothering about Sundar... Well they have been "ek hi thaali ke chatte batte" for long years...Raghav promising to avenge him just took this friendship a notch higher... Taking Siya along to see Sundar was justified because Siya really needs to know that there are people other than her who have suffered under Viraj and that Viraj has to be dealt with a foolproof plan and not in haste... It was needed to stop her from divulging the truth of their marriage (fake) to the Singh's.

4) Raghav and Siya's talk mentioning Dev was sort of a note that the CVs left out: "There a sub story in there and that we will get back to it later."... I liked the fact that Raghav did not not answer Siya's query right there... It would have moved the pivotal issue to be faced now... 'Fighting Viraj'... Somehow i get this feel that the day he narrates the horrific events related to Dev's death, Raghav will find a shoulder to lean on in Siya.

5) Liked the fact that the CVs showed... "Sometimes even The Feared (read Viraj) are engulfed with fear"... that's what a strong character like Gayatri can do to someone like Viraj... It was treat to watch him retreat.

6) When Raghav's friends refused to betray him even with death lingering, something struck me... Viraj may have forcefully earned respect (read fear)... But Raghav has earned relations that will be with him through thick and thin... I see Unniyaal at somepoint deserting his Prabhu but Raghav's friends are for him till their last breath.

7) The knife hold face-off depicted that Viraj was someone who always instills pain onto someone... Where as Raghav is someone who takes the pain head on, not letting any pain onto his dears ones or even the ones in need.

8) Loved the dialogues of Raghav and Sriti today... meaningful and effective... The mention of Geeta made it more hardhitting... Raghav somehow echoed what Siya told Viraj the day she slapped him across his face... And Siya's mention about her lost unborn child and that she wouldn't spend this nor any other life of hers with Viraj... that ultimatum was truly etched out perfectly... That was good enough for Raghav to smirk.

9) And then came the Bandaging scene... Kitne adse... kitne betting ke baad hui ye muraad puri... Wonderfully executed scene... Loved the "Bolti bandh when u glare" expressions of Raghav and Siya and the way he consoled her ... rather strengthened her... They cannot go weak now... no more emotional turmoil.

10) Komolika knows Viraj in and out... She know what would really destabilize him... even if its for a matter of sometime...She has been a strong and vital character... Glad that she hasn't been sidetracked and forgotten forever... and has been brought back now at this stage... That she is the one who suggested this marriage ( fake ) makes the current track slightly logical...because she knows what is needed for Viraj (he was her patient after all) ...and because it would have been out of character for Raghav and Siya to lie to the Singhs about the marriage... Raghav for one would never want to hurt his mother and the rest of the family with a lie and so wouldn't Siya.

11) The dialogue writers have come up with good one liner for all characters before and i applaud them for the same but of late the lines have been repeated n repeated n repeated... be it for any character.

Few other things that struck me were:

1) Siya in the scene after seeing Sundar... uttered that Viraj would go to any height to harm people... She said Viraj ne Humari family (she may have meant Raghav's and Her' too)...but her gesture with hands and the way she said it.. I felt she meant "HUMARI FAMILY"... I know i'm reading too much into it but kya karen khayaali pulav pakane ki aadat si ho gayi hai

2) I know its a sensitive issue and to a quite an extent Marital Rape isnt considered as Rape... But then at some point in the series i would really want them to voice out the issue of marital rape.

3) On a humorous note though,Viraj's scene (in his room) today ... i know the scene was serious... but just couldn't help laughing when i saw his bangs ... or to be more specific the lat ... moving according to his breath... they would once go towards his nostrils then back to where they belonged... it somehow continued all through the scene... now that had me 😆

Plus, did you notice how disturbed he was as well? Note how he always jokes and teases when in a pressured situation that leaves him with a bad taste in his mouth. It's another way of his in dealing with guilt. A kind of defense against whatever it is that disturbs him. It was for Sia's smile, yes. But it was also to distract himself.
4) Raghav and Siya's talk mentioning Dev was sort of a note that the CVs left out: "There a sub story in there and that we will get back to it later."... Maybe, yes. But I sense an insecurity in him due to the self-blame. I think that he is also afraid of whether Sia will judge him when he tells her what happened. It'd make his self-blame and self-hatred worse. I mean, already he feels that whatever happened is unforgivable -- and a part of him has taken Gayatri's forgiveness for granted [even though she hasn't, in words, expressed that she has forgiven him]. I think that, deep down, he fears that he'll never be able to amend for the incident.
6) When Raghav's friends refused to betray him even with death lingering, something struck me... Viraj may have forcefully earned respect (read fear)... I love how you put this. Indeed, V has forced all relationships around him through life threats and fear. But Raghav's earned his relationships through selfless actions and his honesty -- the purity of his intentions and people respect/are loyal to him not because they fear him, but because they love him.
10) Komolika knows Viraj in and out... She know what would really destabilize him... even if its for a matter of sometime...She has been a strong and vital character... I agree, Snow. I love this twist. It explains how Raghav and Sia could take such a huge step out of the blue. They'd never think of doing this unless someone had, in fact, convinced them or put the idea in their heads. It's good to know that there's a real plan behind all this. One that's got Komolika involved.
2) I know its a sensitive issue and to a quite an extent Marital Rape isnt considered as Rape... But then at some point in the series i would really want them to voice out the issue of marital rape.
Even I'm hoping for this issue to be treated through Sia's psychological journey at some point. Maybe after her real marriage to Raghav. I doubt that there will be a SR right away. Logically enough. And I'm glad if they decide to show how she's struggling with the psychological scars of V's deeds.

I wish that just one day Sia would actually laugh at his jokes though! I mean he's trying so hard, the least you could do is laugh! 😍

Tanvi, I agree. Heh. And I think that she will eventually find it hard not smile at his jokes. I hope so, anyway.

the whole scene of v and raghav was mind blowing... after the v glorifying and raghav on mute scenes... i was starving for such scenes... but i was stupified on seeing v forewarning raghav... dont do this raghav... when has v ever warned anyone... he has always threatened, terrified, wanted to keep others living in fear of him... i saw this as him treating raghav like his equal... he knows he cannot scare raghav with his antics... hence the subtle warnings...

i have a con... i hope on mon... they show the events leading up to the fake marriage

Tape recorder 🤣
You made an interesting point about V and Raghav. You're right about how he warned him and didn't actually threaten him, or attempt to instill fear in him. He knows that Raghav is a fearless man, and that he's dealing with another power that is beyond his comprehension, his control.
He doesn't know how to control people who don't fear him.
Plus, I liked how Raghav said his name. It reduced him to just a man, not some great god of all heavens. But note that when V said his own name, he put emphasis on it, trying to make it stand out and ascend himself again because Raghav had, in fact, belittled him.
It's about time that evil is de-glamorized and stripped of its powers.
And as for your con -- I hope the same. I'm happy that we at least got an explanation as to how they ended up taking this step. It wasn't their idea to begin with.

Thanks Ana 😊 My comments in black...

Yes i have noticed how everytime he goes out of his way to make her feel safe...better... or to even put a smile on her face... He just cant see her getting all worked up... in tears... And so keeping aside his insecurities, worries and guilt, he ever so willingly tries to lighten up her tensions.

Maybe, yes. But I sense an insecurity in him due to the self-blame. I think that he is also afraid of whether Sia will judge him when he tells her what happened. His past still gnaws at him.. in a very painful way... the mere mention of his brother is enough to tear him up... being blamed time and again for Dev's death would have left a wound so deep that he fears revealing it may intensify the pain. He for sure would be heartbroken if Siya ever were to think on the lines as his mother used to a while ago (when they weren't in talking terms)... And currently he already has many wounds to his heart to mend than go in for another one.

I so so so hope that this issue is raised... Marital Rape is psychologically draining wrath which leaves a never fading scar in the minds of the victims... Rape itself is equivalent to murder... marital rape.. an irony wherein the abuser or the murderer (if they can be called so)... is none other than the one who swore that he'll steer away any danger heading his wife's way... And a fear of being raped anytime always looms over the victim... what with the abuser being the one she shares her life with.

Sorry got carried away... Just that i have met a few such victims... and the recounts of their tales still resound in my mind.

You noticed it too 😆

Cannot miss out on any humor that comes our way in a series which is supposedly a dark fight against evil.😊

Indeed. But I have a feeling that when Dev is revealed to us, we won't be feeling sorry for him. I might be wrong, of course, as this is all speculation. But I don't believe that Dev was as good a man as portrayed by Gayatri, etc. What I'm really curious about is how well Raghav knew his own brother.

To me, rape is rape. People can call it whatever they want, wrap it in complicated terms and whatnot, but it comes down to the same thing -- sexual intercourse by force. And this is indeed very scarring. It is more the rape of the soul than of the body in the sense that it damages the victim's psyche.
There are cases in which it's been hard for victims to even speak the word "rape", to stand in front of the mirror and say "I've been raped". Sia, I believe, has never really come to terms with her marital rape. She has suppressed the experience in some faraway corner of her mind. It might be a survival technique, but -- if the issue is to be treated fairly by the writers -- she won't be able to ignore it for long. Especially when she'll have to face situations in life in which physical contact is something that she cannot avoid.
Plus I'll be curious to see how Raghav will handle her in such a situation. It won't be easy for him since it's not something that he'll be able to comprehend fully. He'll support her. Give her the time needed to deal and heal. Try to understand it. And being Raghav, I believe that he'll understand the pain.
But something that I wonder is how a man would feel about his wife refusing to have him touch her because she can't stand it emotionally -- that is bound to put this wall up, a defensive one, right? For instance, would the man feel that his wife is, in fact, disgusted by his touch? And how would that make him feel about himself?
There are many aspects of the consequences of marital rape to explore. Plus I'm hoping that the show might convey how a husband should treat his wife.

Cannot miss out on any humor that comes our way in a series which is supposedly a dark fight against evil.😊
Whenever evil is patronized, I rejoice. Because it's not very often that it happens on this show. But this scene just cracked me up because of the humor of it. I had immense trouble concentrating on his dialogues because I was busy watching his hair 😆
