In the wake of yesterday's episode, I really didn't expect much from tonight. In fact, I'd settled in for another huge disappointment. But the episode turned out alright. I can summarize a few things such as Jahnvi/Sia repetitive self-pity drama was on a minimum, V joker drama was on a minimum, Raghav Action Hero was BACK in the game, and a few other things that I'll touch upon in the pros section.
In short, episode rating: Three out of five stars. What increased the awesomeness of the episode for me was Raghav's proactive role and his diehard finale. Must watch, I tell ya.
Without further procrastination...
>> Pros:
1) Double Sia exclaims "you will never change" and I'm like "YES!"
I swear. When Double Sia exclaimed that in frustration, it was like she was voicing what I have been feeling/thinking for days now. That Sia will never change. I liked Double Sia a whole lot better than original Sia, though. Double Sia had attitude.
2) Raghav is distracted
I liked this detail about him tonight. That his mind was so preoccupied with Shekhawat, he couldn't concentrate on anything else and made one small mistake -- not observing V like he usually does. That was a natural result of his distraction and I enjoyed how the writers had added it.
Because any normal person in Raghav's situation would be too distracted to notice what's happening around him since his focus would be on finding Shekhawat. He was even too distracted to pay attention to what Sia was trying to tell him. In another situation, he would have listened, urged her to speak up. But tonight his mind was elsewhere. Nice touch.
Realistic.
3) Sia puts her spying skills into proactive use for once
When she spied on V, I wasn't annoyed with her. In fact, I was kind of proud of her. She's putting those eavesdropping skills of hers into proactive use for once. I approve.
4) Unniyal's outburst on the phone
It was hilarious. Cracked me up when he said the part about how he could barely stand V and his oppressing ways. LMAO xD The truth comes out, Unniyal.
5) No Double V
Self-explanatory. Enjoy it for as long as it'll last. He might return tomorrow -_-
6) Komal observes V and notices something being off about him
I sincerely hope that Komal has caught on to something. I felt like her expressions told us that she's been watching him and noticing his odd behavior, finding it bothersome. Maybe she'll play a stronger part in his unveiling. I want her to play a stronger part, because she is an interesting character. And she does seem to have brains underneath all that hair.
7) Family moment at the hospital
Was absolutely adorable. Raghav was distracted, but he tried to smile and all. Loved how Komal covered for him. Krish-Dadi moment was sweet as well.
8) Raghav scares the shit out of a cop and Sia rushes to Raghav's defense
OMG, I cracked up. It was so frigging hilarious.
First, cop is being all up his a##, showing attitude and all. Like, "get up". Then Raghav, in a rage, stands up, slams his hands down on the cop's desk, and makes the cop jump up. His expression was so frigging hilarious. One second, he was all cool, and next he was so scared of Raghav that he almost wet his pants.
He ran off, though. Someone else took his place to deal with Raghav 😆 Man, I loved the way Raghav slammed his hands down on the desk and leaned over. Hot.
9) Raghav/Sia moment that made my heart go th-thump th-thump
Need I say more?
I swear. There is just something about RaghaVi. They can have like five seconds of eye-locking and it's like all the chemistry in the world exploded between them. Damn. We got this one brief scene in which Raghav looks at her for like five seconds, hands her a glass of water, says a few words -- and it's like all of their moments put together in five seconds.
How do they do it?
Just beautiful. Intense. Hot. Sweet. Everything.
10) Shekhawat-Raghav face to face and their awesome chemistry
Gosh, I loved their entire scene together. LMAO xD They actually have awesome chem. I mean, I could see them joining forces against V. Shekhawat is a "where is my advantage" type, and even though he hates Gayatri, he'd switch to Raghav's side for a price, or well, he'd switch to Raghav's side to save his own skin.
V has let him down, pasaofying him. I would find it hilarious and awesome if Shekhawat switched sides. Because Shekhawat is a chicken -- when it comes down to it. He wants to save his own skin.
Moving on... I loved how Raghav tapped him on the shoulder. Watch.
But my favorite part was when Shekhawat was being all "mwahaha, I won, you can't hurt me now cuz you're outnumbered!" and then Raghav pulled him over like a ragdoll, taking him by the throat xD It was hilarious. And damn, Raghav looked intense.
This is why I'm a diehard Raghav fan. Just watch him:
He's a hero with an edge. Rugged, rough, intense Raghav who knows how to kick villain a#ses. He'll kick V's a#s one day, is what I'm hoping for. V's a "lemme get the gun or my belt" kinda guy. Raghav's a "let's fistfight" kinda guy. God, I love Raghav.
11) Flow with suspense, but scenes were properly connected
No complaints tonight. There was suspense [arg], but it was tolerable because the flow was right and scenes were allowed to play out and they were properly connected. No confusion.
12) Sia outmaneuvers V with her wits -- for once
Thank you, CVs. The way she responded to V at the hospital and reminded Gayatri that there was a meeting at home that he had to attend -- awesome. For once, they showed her meet V as an equal in his game. I just wish she was more consistent about it.
>> Cons:
1) Sia's constant self-pity
She's always pitying herself. I'm sick of it. Get over yourself, lady.
2) Sia's repetitive dialogues
Self-explanatory.
3) Sia still hasn't told Raghav the truth
*rips out hair*
4) Sia still wears too much lipstick and eyeshadow
*facepillar*
How does she find the time to doll herself up? 🤢
5) Gayatri considering to give someone the power of attorney
I seriously hope that the CVs don't mess with her character and make her give V all that power over her business. Because he's still a stranger and Gayatri is a smart lady. She'd never hand the power over to him, of all people. It would be a character blooper.
