Well, the reason this forum has more moderators than others is that enough of you have done a fine job creating an acrimonious enough atmosphere that it was decided that this forum needed a larger DT than usual. So don't be surprised to see decisions going against the grain here.
Honestly speaking, the banner could be about domestic violence, and if someone picks the images carefully enough, it can be shown. Like Viraj beating up Jhanvi (yeah, it's allowed - just b'cos we said that both jodis have to be shown doesn't mean that both have to be shown positively)., Jhanvi & Geeta in the car crash, Jhanvi in the ashram. At the same time, justice has to be done to the entire cast, so the banner can't just be filled w/ different Jhanvi poses.
Note that what we have done has been just list who all have to be there. How they are depicted is up to you (the participants) - you can show Viraj releasing the roaches on Jhanvi or beating her up or watering her @ night in the garden, and Jahnvi having her romantic moments w/ Raghav. Or, if you are a Viraj fan, you can even do the opposite - show Viraanvi in a romantic pose, and show Jhanvi, Mr & Mrs Awasthi struggle w/ Raghav. That freedom is yours - and in the end, it'll simply be quietly voted on. And like I said earlier, you don't have to show jodis @ all. You can put Viraj & Unniyal in the car, Raghav & Sundar in the shop, show Jhanvi in the ashram w/ the other ladies and so on. The possibilities are virtually limitless.
In short, have all the characters listed on pg 1, and you'll be just fine. Have too many of any character - even Jhanvi - at the expense of the others, and it'll stall.
I'm ignoring the gratuitous remarks @ the DT for now (although reading the rules to see what it says about that is highly recommended), but just one thing - we do not want to hear the 'other forums do this differently' - no matter what the differences. This forum is not like most other forums. It's only like other forums that have had competing leads, and thereby, a full scale war b/w its participants.

No! Even ignoring the fights that take place in the forum, banners are supposed to have all the lead characters in a serial, and that more often than not is much more than the lead pair. Banners that just have the lead couple are really dull, which is why we decided against it.
Also, not all the characters are mandatory - just the bulk of the dramatis personae have to be there - there were some that we didn't make mandatory, like Sia (Jhanvi's sis), Priya, Payal and a few others.
