Priya's character was one I viewed with suspicion, but the more I watch the more I just understand how she is caught up in this and I just feel for her.

I still do view her a bit with suspicion. When she was first introduced as the manager's daughter, I felt for the girl. Yet there was a thought as to whether she and her father were in on some plan. I still wonder this. Or wonder if maybe she is in on this plan herself.

The reasons why I thought she and her father were in it together.

1) Priya, MFA student, comes into his office wearing a saree to do her project. Why in the world would she have come in wearing a saree? (Or maybe the CVs never gave this much thought, since their main goal was for Viraj to think of Jhanvi.)

2) All the similarities to Jhanvi, from her meek demeanor to the song.

3) When Mr. Malhotra tries to return the laptop, he brings Priya with him. Why do so?

4) Just the way she and her father exchanged glances, and her smiles.

But then comes Mr. Malhotra's warnings to her. Now perhaps we could say this is a warning to her not to fall for him. Maybe, maybe not. But let's say this is Priya's own scheme.

If it's her own scheme, all of the above four instances would also make sense. Plus added in is her scrapbook of Viraj and her own confession to Viraj that she's nursed a crush on him.

Then there is the possibility that she is just innocently caught up in all this. But whether or not her catching Viraj's attention is by design, or all purely coincidental, one thing I think I can say is that this girl is caught up in Viraj.

I really think she is. For that I just feel for her.

Those cockroaches 🤢. I had to place my hand on the screen to cover them up. First time in a long time a scene with Viraj didn't just completely hold my attention, and I couldn't term his scene as pure entertainment.

Priya was freaked out... truly and completely. I don't know if she's the innocent, wide eyed girl that we've seen of her. Or if she's one with some kind of agenda and plan. But either way, for some reason, she was in the process of putting it in her mouth. I think either way, she's drawn in and has fallen for Viraj.

Kudos to the actress. She did a damn good job. In fact, she has been doing a good job all throughout but after today I took notice.

I have a feeling she may be scheming too but I'm not sure..CVs are so unpredictable which is a good thing. If she's not scheming and is falling for Viraj then she must be really REALLY dumb because Viraj is trying to change her completely and that should be the first sign that a guy isn't into you. Plus, he's a widow who JUST lost his wife and is trying to find a new one...that's pretty suspicious to me. If she's scheming, however, then good luck to her because Viraj needs to learn some lessons here and there

I can't figure this girl out.

She's either, a gold digger, mentally unstable, in love...

or all of the above.

She has confessed to Viraj that she's liked him since the day he came and gave a speech in her college...and we've been shown that she has a scrapbook with clipping and pictures of him to support her claim.

I don't think she and Mr. Malhotra are plotting together...at least that is not the impression I got from them. In fact he clearly warned her about Viraj and told her not to see him.

Now comes the interesting part...Viraj wants to test her love by asking her to eat a cockroach.

Now I admit people in love go to great lengths for each other...

Maut ko gale lagana...you know like...agar is janam mein nahin mil sake to agle janam me milenge.

Giving your life, blood, or even a kidney... to save a loved one...

Abdicating a throne

Leaving their family, religion, inheritence...etc.

Even marrying someone else to protect your beloved...

But eating a cockroach?!?!? 🤢 🤢 🤢 🤢

If I was Priya...my eyebrow would definitely be raised...fire alarms would go off in my head...I would tell Mr. Dobriyal in the politest but most certain terms...

Sir...I mean Viraj Ji...please seek help...

Then I'd walk out...never look back...and Oh I would definitely use that scrapbook to light up my fireplace...

No amount of pretty necklaces would convince me to come back...ever!!

But not Priya...so I'm left wondering again...is she a gold digger, mentally unstable or in love...

or all of the above?

If she's not scheming (or even if she is) Viraj has this type ability or aura that many would get drawn into. It would make even more sense if she's not scheming, and that's her real personality. Sure she's a very pretty girl and it's hard to imagine she wouldn't have gotten attention from guys. But she might have also been very shy and also kept to herself.

Yes, she is dumb as hell and stupid to follow all of his orders. But plenty of girls and women do stupid things and fall for wrong guy and try to change themselves. She's stupid to go with such a recent widower. But again, people do all kinds of stupid things.

If she's scheming, I still think she was really freaked about with the cockroaches (obviously, who wouldn't be?), and I also think even while scheming she may have already become a bit drawn into Viraj Dobriyal.

ummesulaiman, I'm basically where you're at too. I don't think her father is in on this, either. Her scheming makes the most sense. Still, I can see a girl who's so impressionable and weak (perhaps not mentally stable, but with serious self-confidence issues) become completely freaked, afraid, emotional all of that. And add to that the way Viraj kept putting it as a way to prove herself, and his "encouragement."

Still, I think she's scheming...just because... But it's so hard to say for sure. As you said, you just can't figure her out.

If I'm not mistaken...her mother is no longer alive and she's been raised by her father...probably in a very sheltered and over protective manner...so maybe she hasn't had so much exposure to other men.

Also she comes across as being super shy and delicate...very...um...girly if you will...😆...and she is already head over heels in love with Viraj Dobriyal...Considering how charming he is..I'm not surprised.

But for her to continue to be blinded by his charm...after being served cockroaches today...either she is super naive or just plain stupid.

Yup... except for the fact that he stopped her from eating the cockroaches and hugged her and calmed her down. Stupid, naive and caught up to the hilt--yes. But still...

All that being said, I hope she's a schemer. I think they just might take that route. I mean all those coincidences... But what stops me and makes me wonder is that is that we see that super shy, delicate, girly manner even when she's not with Viraj.

And yeah, very possible that she had an overprotective, sheltered upbringing.

We shall see, I guess. 😆

I am basically in the same place as you guys but I always figured she is mostly fascinated by his power, wealth and status and I am guessing she wants it or I just think the CVs are playing with us and are gonna turn this whole scenario around and give us something totally unexpected because as someone said no girl who is supposedly educated that dumb or naive that she would stick with a guy who tests her love by eating cockroaches..like seriously..??

From my history with Hindi shows and how well they do sometimes in scheming and plotting, there is a possibility that Mr Malhotra is in on this.

What you mentioned Likarsh, about the fact that Mr Malhotra warned Priya to stay away from Viraj is true. But there is a possibility that's just a way for the CVs to mislead us. I've seen it done countless times on TV before. They are all in on a plan, but make it seem like to the audience they don't know anything by those same dialogues. Therefore, I'll still say Mr Malhotra might know.

I definitely agree with you and Ummesuleiman about Priya being naive. If she is really falling for him she is one dumb girl. Like I mentioned in that SBS interview of theirs where they showed the cockroach scene, the way Priya actually agreed to eat the cockroach was so surprising. Who the heck would ever ask someone to eat a cockroach to "test their love"? That is just plain bizarre and creepy. I seriously hope Priya is not that dumb. Yes, at the end he stopped her from eating it which, I'm sure, made Priya like Viraj again, but the very fact that he even asked to eat a cockroach... I don't know...

After this cockroach scene I definitely hope that Priya is faking this.

It was the way the girl wasn't running for the hill after the cockroaches that got me thinking oh this girl may not be a victim after all 😆.

Did you see the excitement in her eyes after he pulled out that necklace. I just want cv to show what's she thinking and how she decided on making making her sugar daddy. Now if it turns out she actually in love with Viraj then she a bigger fool then I thought.

I still want her to ask Viraj to prove his love by jumping at the window, self him right with those freaking cockroaches 🤢
