My name is Sharmila and unlike most of you, I am married and have a young daughter. I have seen a little more of life to come to the conclusion that in real life there are no black and whites, if one is wrong then there are people who allow one to worsen by not doing anything about it. As a fairly level headed person, I would say that in a situation that Jahnvi finds herself, the key to face the situation is consistency. By her yo-yo behaviour, Jahnvi has failed to draw a line for Viraj. Love is not EMI that is doled in instalments. You either have it in your account or you don't. The forthcoming marital rape scenario is most not the first for her. Till date, if I am not wrong, she has been a willing partner to Viraj out of fear not love. So this was one is not most definitely the first one. Viraj knows that his evil machinations are working and that is what is making him more vicious.
Jahnvi has been giving him mixed signals, instead of putting her dainty little feet firmly down and looking straight into his eyes and saying. NO, I WILL NOT TOLERATE THIS NON SENSE ANYMORE, she is trying to acquire his freaky habits. Is her sense of judgement all mixed up? A person like Viraj,unless if he is clinically unwell, derive strength from our ( us, women) weakness. Divorce, running way,are the last options. I fail to understand the spark of love in her eyes. I fail to understand love, if Viraj and Jahnvi are in it. I know we are in for a knight in shining armour, but it would have rocked if Jahnvi could have saved herself by her own courage and guts.
PS: not blaming Jahnvi but just saying that she or any other women should not condone such behaviour. In so called normal moments, unacceptable behaviour of the spouse should be discussed to prevent repeated incidents.
