DSJZ not a copy paste?

Spent my last 24hrs on DSJZ😆😆

Well I like the fact that it's not exactly the same...usually I would hate any sort of deviation from the original story line but I like how rehana are bonding here compared to the original

Yeah but I also don't like how ananth and roshni are being shown so negatively and most importantly I hate how they tried to show ananth as the hero of the show and wasted screen time on him leading to the show flopping in trps😡

Old man-young woman thing is not uncommon in India but it hardly works on-screen

Hello everyone after several years of inactiveness ,im finally hooked by a serial and so im having some questions..

I watched forbidden love some years back after recognising that DSJZ was a copy paste of it..or what i thought was so..

So why is everyone against a old-young couple? Basically the original show is about anant and ahanna life ,and how this become a triangle love with rehan! And ahana is shown more negative and revengeful in FB. Where here they are just showing rehan dreaming of ahana,this is not the case in FB!

So DSJZ is not a real copy paste of FB?

For my part, FB was a master piece,a blockbuster worldwide.Its just sad that people are not appreciating it the way it should! Dont get me wrong but thats all the uniqueness about this show. Im saddened by the fact that its not going well here and that they are showing the worst of anant and ahana love life😕😕

I guess its just for trp and audience satisfaction...but im happy watching a different show for the first time in india and not the typical saas bahu,never ending serial!

All this making me feel like this show wont end like Forbidden Love and the death of ahan due to impossible love..

May be it was too good to happen here...

I have watched original turkish series and i liked that DSJZ is showing characters more positive..But they will not deviate from original concept of forbidden love..
Ahana and Rehaan's charcters are more convincing to me than original series..Not liking that they are showing Anant little negative after their fight..he was supposed to be most matured among all characters..

i think both kasam se and kuch toh log kahenge were huge hits in india. I think dsjz is the only one which didnt getvthe enough attentiin when it comes to young girl old guy love story.

I guess most of the people knew the original story and were waiting for rehaana to happen to watch the show.

Was roshini different in the original version?

Ofc i did not expect them to make the exact copy of forbidden love! In the mexican version i watched they are more extravagant,showing kissing scenes and love scenes bw ananth and ahana which ofc will never happen in india..

That said roshni will always have a negative role till the end...

For my part from the mexican version, there was not so much negativity bw ananth and ahana,so may be if they showed the best of their couple,things would have been different..

Also ahana has her negative part in the original versions where she is the one trying to seduce rehan compared to here...

Not everything that was shown in the western version will be shown in india but still instead of wrapping the show so soon they should have shown the love journey of ahana well

I understood it could never be a copy paste. But as long as they didn't deviate majorly from the track, it was all good.
Many a times you have to make slight modifications to suit your audience. I'm certain the Indian audience or rather censor board wouldn't take kindly to intimate scenes (1-2 scenes maybe, but not too many).
But when they change the track to suit TRP's, it's upsetting
