I was thinking the same and then it clicked- Palak knows how delicate Ritwik is when it comes to his real mum. He had a breakdown looking at her picture imagine how he will act if she ever faces him? However, I think Palak should talk to him and discuss and not pamper him.

She is feeling guilty because he left his family for her and now this. Realistically, she needs the job as Ritwik is unemployed and she fears if she tells Ritwik he will have an episode worse than last time.

I think that Ritwik will understand if she explains everything in the end with no half truths. I would like to see both of them fighting together not one for the other. This mom track is super annoying and it's dragging.
