Om is this pissed off because this is not about some random woman he thought was a home wrecker anymore. This is personal now. Gauri came and lived as Chulbul and got him to like and trust her.Then he found out Gauri IS ChulBul and I don't think he has come out of that shock yet. He is insulting Gauri coz he wants to hold on to the anger. In his heart of hearts he knows this is the same person that was Chulbul whom he trusted with his life.

The situation SO messed up. After all this, how can he trust his heart or his own judgement? So being angry and hating on Gauri is his only solution. Gauri just doesnt know what to do anymore. She wants to leave and she wants to stay. But whichever she does she loses! It's rather interesting right now and not at all like ShiVika story at this point. The whole premise of Rikara is different as in their conflict is mostly an internal one. They fight each other but the actual fight is within themselves! Hope that made sense!

just they have to show Om's POV.

He meant that Shivika could not stand each other or rather he could not after their marriage. Anika was puzzled and same with Gauri. She does not know the full extent of why OM despises her so much. He keeps accusing her of being evil, conniving without giving her a chance to explain.

Gauri is helpless as in she does not know what to say or do to clear Om's misconceptions about her. She can't seem to get away from OM too as people keep bringing her back.

My two bits on the Om and Gauri relationship:

I think I am starting to enjoy it a bit more. I hate the way Omkara talks to Gauri but I also like the fact that Gauri has stopped silently taking his behaviour. She does speak back to him.. like she said in yesterdays episode when he accused her of constantly coming back into his room. She said that she takes no joy in hurting her self respect and coming in his room. I liked that statement.. I liked that she cares for her own dignity and does not appreciate Om's behaviour and she is not looking at him like God anymore.

Yes she loves him but she knows its a loveless marriage and she doesn't want to push herself on Om. I hope she goes back to being dabang Gauri and gives it back to Om. Sometimes he does need to be told off.

Om as a character has always been angry and in pain.. but his anger never came out as aggression the way it is now.. He channelised his anger earlier in his creativity but now he is not even doing that anymore. Om's anger was seen when he stood upto shivaay in the 2nd episode and then again during the Ishana phase and again during the Shivika marriage revelation phase. He can be very harsh.

Omkara is another name for Shiv.. shiv is extremely calm and easy to please but when he is angry he is the destroyer.

Right now he is in the destruction phase.. but he is only ending up destroying himself in pain and anger.

I am honestly looking forward to Omkara going back to being the Ishqbaaz Omkara.. the poetic and artist Omkara. The Omkara who was the soul part of the 3 brothers.

This! WORD! Everything you said. I agree. Omkara was always angry inside. He had a dark side. Much darker than Shivaay. But like you said he channelled it in his creativity before. Now it's coming out as agression because he has no way of keeping it controlled and channelled. He is very harsh and can be very blunt and dismissive. When he tells you off it hurts more than when Shivaay does it. Actually he is the ONLY person who has rendered Shivaay speechless and made him really upset with his criticisms. Remember how he was crying when Om was critical of him after the wedding and even during Raksha Bandan?

This Om was always there and the only difference was he mostly showed his laid back ZEN side. Now it's the other way around! LOL. So it's hard for people to digest it!!

lol jealous of what? I think he just means the whole love hate relationship aspect. Can't live with each other but can't live without either. It's kind of like what kunal said. Tom and jerry relationship. Shivika were once at that stage too where they couldn't stand each other but they couldn't stay apart either. Kunal and nakuul basically gave the same answer just in different words.

P.S. if you don't like the characters that's fine but you shouldn't abuse actors that way. They're just doing their job.

Naks could have worded better his answer unnecessarily made his fandom bash rikara not that thy dont do but they went on rampage bashing even kj and shrenu twlling thy can never match narbhi and wat not so he could have worded better anyways couple fandom need chance to bash rikara so naks gave them one which os annoying .And shivika were no diggerent from arnav khushi or maan geet and asad zoya if tat is wat he meant

true basically all of gul stories are the same so yea but I don't think he meant any offense by it. It's probably just the first thing that came to his mind. And if you think that the other fandom started the bashing, that doesn't mean this fandom has to bash back. There's a decent way to go about it too. I have said the same thing in the other forum before n saying it now that these stupid fandom wars need to stop from both sides. Who actually has this much time in their life?

Yes even I think the comparison was not well received by anyone. So it was a pointless exercise. I saw how rude people were being to Kunal and Shrenu and also RiKara etc saying how senior couple is better etc. Like they are at all unique when I have seen Arshi, Asya who were all the same. Nothing new. Gul just shows the same thing with re-cycled names and slightly changed premise.

Why most of us even liked Om and Rudra were coz they were not typical Gul style guys. At least Om's issue is not misplaced arrogance. He is having a whole different problem. Anger is just a symptom of bigger issues in his life, not bad attitude or arrogance. So I am interested to see what they can do with RiKara in that context.

Sorry to say but couple fandom were really rude and one even mocked me coz I questioned Nox comparison. Was trying to tell me that actor won't care etc. I told back that I am not trying to get actors validation only stating my opinion. Suddenly the person had nothing to say. I am not silly enough to mock people just for giving their opinion.

Some over zealous couple fan called Gauri a "Stalker". So who is attacking who I wonder? There is no need for senior couple fans to get so nasty just coz the promo was focusing on RiKara. I guess they cant stand anyone but their favorites getting any attention. 1 whole year they hogged the limelight so now it's time for others to get some attention too. Not just RiKara but Rudra too. Pity they had to give Rudra SS at the expense of Rumya, but that is another topic.
