Stay A Lil Longer [Rikara]

When that manhoos mariya song "Jaane Nahin Denge Tujhe" started playing, i forreals thought ke buss..doob gayi ye episode. Waise bhi the entire episode was a clusterf**k from start to end but being a RiKara fan, wo mashoor e zamana CPR scene had me sitting through the episode. Khair! Toh the song. Kasmey, Sonu Nigam se chirr uski Azaan comments ki wajah se nahin hai bulke iss naaspitiye song ki wajah se hai. Ek toh they played this song..uper se Omkara Gauri ko utha ke itna SLOW speed se chal raha tha ke I saw a few snails go past him. Haan bacha, slow and steady does win the race but NOT WHEN IT'S A LIFE OR DEATH SITUATION!!

Anyway! The CPR scene was everything I thought it would be - STUPID. Not because I find the whole, "She's dying give her a CPR" wala thing but because there was an entire crowd there. And ek bit mein toh they showed FakeLana looking at them with such interest. Issko bada maza aaraha tha? Apna jail jaana bhool gayi. And Omkara's conflict ke hayyee rabba...waqt ne kiya kya haseen sitam; ye kis dorahe pe laa khade hue hum! Dude, it's a medical procedure..tujhe uske makeout nahin karna! That entire buildup was so...pathetic.


I had to say all the negative stuff before getting to the GREAT part. THANK YOU RIKARA FOR EFFIN' SAVING THE EPISODE LIKE THAT!! THAT KHUSHI OF STANNING THE BESTS WHO NEVER DISAPPOINTS IS OH MY GOD SO MUCH!! MASHALLAH MASHALLAH!!

When Gauri woke up and the first thing she sees is Omkara all concerned for him..closer to her by choice than he has ever been before. And Omkara seeing Gauri open her eyes, relief washing all over him. It was SUCH a beautifully directed scene. Gauri getting up slowly and Omkara moving back, not reducing the distance between them. Saathiya..the beautiful beautiful Saathiya playing in the BG as Omkara raises his arms, welcoming her to fold herself in his embrace so he can shelter her from the pain she just went through. It was so beautiful..I almost cried watching that! But then the spell broke when Gauri saw the police.

For ONCE, Omkara was all heart but Gauri was all brain. She knew what the presence of police meant there. Khel khatam, ab sab apne ghar ko chalo. And OM toh Gauri ka ghar hi nahin..she was here to help Omkara and that she did. She almost died while doing so but a deal is a deal. My girl, this precious girl of mine..she told the Maas all about the deal. Why she was brought here, what will her next move be. And Omkara...for the first time I saw the Omkara which he used to be. The man who was all heart. But he was silenced by the man he has become. His present self was holding him back from refuting Gauri's claims and stopping him from doing the instinctive thing of holding Gauri to assure himself that yes, she was alive and well and safe and there there there with him. But that present self of his couldn't stop his eyes which were shedding tears because oh god he almost lost her and now she will be gone.

I just got so EMOSH seeing this scene. This wonderful scene which was Omkara and Gauri meeting and saying goodbye. Svetlana is gone (party karo people!) but that also means what was holding these two pieces of one soul together is also gone. And he's too stubborn to stop her, still too blinded to realize that what he sees is not the truth but what he feels is the actual truth; and she's too disillusioned to try to find any deeper meaning behind his concern or what he meant when he raised his arms for her. So he just walks away and she is left there crying because Gauri...ab tere jaane ka waqt aagaya. And how beautiful is her soul that despite dying inside she prays that Omkara gets his happiness now..

Wow.. this reads so amazing .. thanks for adding to my excitement.. yes.. I am excited with RiKara finally beginning their journey.. enough of Lana Puran.. hopefully now we get what we were promised in the first place.. fingers crossed.. we've already seen worse anyway .. nothing can beat that..


Okay coming to the scene .. still gotta watch it.. tv audience Hun na.. but this reads so good.. finally a glimpse of Omkara the man we know.. yeah he lives on.. such a relief to get these hints.. he's affected by Gauri n this ever practical girl knows where she stands in his life.. shittt yaa.. how beautiful are these moments.. I feel for both of them.. yeah.. a long way for them to go still but these moments reinstate that I didn't fall for the wrong two.. yeah.. life's good.. hehe..

But you have literally written down in words...what i felt in the entire episode...Now the feeling which will put Om against Gauri...is not his hatred...that has probably slowly melted to some extent...now its his ego which is going to work...because after coming back to her senses when Om was about to embrace her...she was the one who reminded him about the deal. The pain was evident in his eyes...so the ego takes over now

I'm no doctor, just someone with thoda bohat common sense. Meri halat CPR scene dekh ke aisi thi...I was getting second hand embarrassment as a human watching it. I can only wonder what a real doctor must've felt during that scene 😆

I'm so curious to know what changes Omkara's behavior. He is legit looking for reasons to hate Gauri now. I'm sure his heart isn't completely convinced that Gauri is someone who he thinks her to be. His guilt when Svetty told him that Gauri was in the freezer and she could die, Omkara flashing back to Gauri's determination of kicking Svetty out of the house because HE said he would and she trusted her husband's words...it showed that Omkara isn't a complete devil when it comes to Gauri. Urgh! I really wish we get Omkara's heart and mind raging a huge conflict within him when it comes to Gauri. Abhi he's all mind..but his heart will take over someday and tab asli band bajegi iss Jatadhari Hippie ki 😆

I have no idea why the show has such spotty creative direction... Some moments are beautifully done, you want to just hug the characters, smile and cry with them. And then come the trainwreck stuff... the weird ass costumes, the totally inappropriate bgm choices and simply no effort put into keeping a character intact.

I think the actors deserve the kudos while the creatives need a couple of solid kicks to their asses to get them in gear. If you have a great cast, at least learn to make use of them...

With DBO there's one thing I'm completely sure of - when it's bad, it's terrible. But when it's good..oh it's SO good! I'm just here for the good. Because the bad can do things from giving me a headache to giving me an urge to either jump off a cliff or push the show off a cliff. Or both.

Khair, I'm glad that bakwas song didn't play till in the full scene. It was there for good luck it seemed? Ainvayi randomly ghusaad diya. The actors deserve all the cakes they have been cutting lately! Selling all this baffling shit with utter conviction..it takes some serious professionalism! 👏

I'm just happy that we will get their interactions which don't revolve around Svetty's existence. That chapter had long overstayed its welcome. Yes, the hate still exists and the path is long but at least they are on the right track. Omkara ke nakhre are still alive as per the segments but let's see what the future episodes have in store for us. I just hope when the Bua Maa angle starts..Rikara wouldn't again revert to just talking about the villains in their life -_-
