I understand being a professional why BARC ratings matter and why she has to go with popular content. I remember having tried to put in people's minds that she has to do certain things as she is a professional. I continued paying for her shows on hotstar even when I am on my first job and need to save so as to move to a new country.

And for what: To hear that "Digital viewers are not audience and she doesn't care." She nbadly needs to learn how to give interviews! And respect people who watch her shows. You see certain things are mutual!

I feel like a fool to have paid to watch her shows. And I stop doing that right away!

As a professional, I understand and do not bash her for whatever she shows- I know TRP ratings are important but that doesn't give her a right to dismiss us as viewers. Not paying any money to watch any of her shows anymore- on TV or off TV! I would be the one to ask my mother to stop watching her show if I ma in the house!! And yet I will watch it online!

I thought the same, if digital audiences don't matter or if they don't count why has there been a significant shift with big production houses venturing into the digital space..even EK launched a whole line of shows for her app, there are YouTube shows that have done so well and garnered critical accalim..Maybe it's not as much money as TV right now but it shouldn't be dismissed completely. Such blatant disregard for the audience, sigh.

Appsalutely my point and thats she is the one who has made a online series. *sarcastic laugh*

I agree to her reasoning for the TRPS- I totally AGREE there. No issues. No issues even for a major change in storyline or characters. But saying that online viewers don't matter because they don't give money: why the heck do we pay those 200 bucks to hotstar???

P.S. Controlling swearing at the moment as this is a public forum but trust me- I am doing that in mind! Big time!

appy i said she is quiet succesful in her work..she rescued her company from bankruptcy..only few women like her is successful in entertainmeint field..

if she didn't want online audience...why she created tanhaiyaan for online audience..she can show it in tv na...what is the use of hot star too..

that is what my point is too! she can't be so disrespectful to anyone within her business and if it is so... where does the money from hotstar go is my question!

Lakshu- don't mind- I don't doubt your views but...being at a first job- I need to budget and when she says things like this- I would lose control, right?

@blue ofcourse you have every rights to show your disaapointment because u r paying for her to watch these shows..i don't understand why said that .may be lack of trp ...

thats what lakshu: you can say that to bashers: i agree; but she assumes that all digital viewers are bashers. Thats her problem- she needs to understand that instagram and hotstar are two different apps used by different people.

Anyway, she shows what we need to so. So that's it. And I can't respect a person who can'rt reason well- a person can't be respected just for making money- respect comes mutually.

The most important trait of a respectable person is: to maintain dignity in worse of the times; if its because of trp's she sure doesnt have that

Dear you forgot most of the Indians doesn't watch shows online they prefer TV she just stated the fact that online viewers are not counted in trps so how will she focus on the request made by online if she consider the plot for online viewers then the TV watchers won't except... Don be disheartened by this she appreciates u watch in hotstar but there are less viewers on hotstar
