they want to make dbo and rikara sub-standard from it's parent show and their fav couple and so why they have such ridiculous tracks and their so-called unique love story for dbo n rikara...this spin off was only started to increase the trp n popularity of their fav show n its couple...

omkara is neither strong nor has a proper love story for him nor he gets to wear even normal clothes, may be so that he remains less than their main ML in every way...cvs themselves do not want om or rikara to be more popular than their main leads and they are executing it in right direction...

I have to wonder if there is something to what you all are saying? Because I remember when Rumya were picking up interest and I even read comments like "Rudra and Saumya are more exciting right now" from people, articles were coming out about them etc. This was right after the drunk marriage and Rudra started to act possessive of Sumo. Soon after these comments were made, their SS got cut to nothing. We were all left reeling as to what happened. The story which was going at bullet train speed slowed down to a bullock cart?

It was pretty clear they didn't want their faves spotlight taken in any way by the new couple. They were the first married couple on the show. At that time all the psycho-drama started and it was all to get the focus back on their faves. From that point onwards Rumya was never given any real focus. Om had no FL and then December - Jan OmRu were hardly seen (courtesy of their illness and also no real track for either of them). Then came the spin-off and the rest we all know.

But it was always about keeping focus only on their faves including getting other characters to keep making comments on how good they look together etc. It was so obvious and almost desperate. I guess all the drama of wedding got them TRP and that was it. But DBO was only made to pacify people who wanted to see a story for OmRu. We wanted both. They gave one so far, but a story with no head or tail. Now instead of showing Rumya they are again going to bring some other woman for Rudra. What is the meaning of all this? It's like they just don't want either Om's story to take off, or Rumya's story to have any focus? Now with this new FL are they really thinking people are going to go Ga ga? They very well know half the audience is pissed off with the idea. So again, NO chance of this pairing eclipsing their favored ones. The bias is too much. The worst part is it makes no sense. I don't understand why they have to Ruin Om and Rudra's characters or stories to glorify their ML from parent show? What is that saying that "Snuffing out someone else's light, does not make yours shine brighter". More light just makes the light brighter for everyone. But here Gul and her people have done Everything in their power to make sure the light never shines on the other two guys, and they always remain in their faves shadow. I really dislike favoritism, because I have seen people's career's ruined by that. So here too, I will speak against it when I see it happening. Unless you are blind, anyone can see this is favoritism through and through. I guess the truth IS bitter!

Mandy truth is always bitter. Trps telling how much peoples liking Gaurika with such Gauri character. But still if u ask strong character of Gauri n change of storyline then u did a big sin. U will face bashing

Well i always says what i feel n what is true according to facts. N i m saying from the start makers r intentionally runing show. They don't want omkara more hit then their fav's. They showed instant marriage n gauri madly in love. Where that happens in real? This is what omkara fans were demanding. PP n vishwas jaap ? N omkara so dumb. Omkara always advised shivaay in IB n now he is so dumb that even with help of some one else he cant do anything... story is all abt how villens r over smart n trapping om. How 5wen paas friend cb helping om n still he failed... love story gayi tail lana.. it is like "when we said its a love story ?? U guys r fools tu hum kye karen" .. n u know what we r actually fools. N making ourselves more fools to think something better will happen.

So many times i send email to SP. end swetlana track n bring omkara love story (whatever it is) but all time i got reply it's creatives decesion. Story will progress step by step. Its abt whole story. Means what ?? Whole story is abt swetlana so they can't change it ??

Also they said DBO was always abt Omkara LS from core.. now where is even glimpse of that LS ?? Trps reaches 2.3 to 1.2 but they r not ready to end all this crap. So what else r their intentions are ? Rather than making less popular drama day by day n to end it ???

Abt Rudra story. Well i will not say anything. Bcz i know what makers r up to once again :(

Yes the show initially seemed interesting and TRP went up to 2.3. Then right away they started to show Jasoos nonsense, the Robot and Svetlana's faces and 3 lives etc. Right away the TRP starts to drop. It's like they did it on purpose. Creative call my foot. First you have to have creactivity to make a call on it? LOL. Here they just come up with random stuff daily and keep changing the story. They must really think we are fools! That's the best part. Such arrogance that they assume they're smarter than their audience, but fact is they are not!

Now again with Rudra they will do a story with no head or tail, instead of following on with the story they did for 10 months. I wonder why Both FL's for the two younger brothers had to be changed but the older brother kept his? Because HE was the only one with a story. From the start they gave most footage to him, but at least the others were getting focus and the brothers scenes were many. Now there is non of that. One brother's story has gone at the speed of a jet plane and the other two are still trying to take off. I think they always assumed that people would just be happy watching one story coz they don't have the talent to do anything more. But sadly for them people were not happy with that, so now they have to think of something, and THIS shambles of a story with a Crocodile is all they could think of?

I dont even want to guess what they will do with Rudra now some new Gul type FL is coming for him? I am happy to accept I was wrong if Saumya stays in the story and this woman is not End game. But sadly in the case of Gul and her antics, I am finding myself right. (Because I know what she's like after watching 3 of her shows). She is hands down the worst Producer around. Most biased and unprofessional and vindictive as well. (Towards fans). That is why if fans ask for something she acts like she is giving it, and then do the opposite just to torture those people. I am not kidding she HAS done that before. (ask anyone who watched QH). No one got out alive on that, except the final couple that no one expect the ML's fans cared about coz it was that bad. If you saw how BAD that show was when it ended, that was a testimony to GK and her behaviour. She is a sadist through and through and this is a fact that cannot be refuted.

They really don't have any interest in Rudra and Omkara...they are just ruining these characters!
The character I found the most different was Om when he was actually an artist by nature and not just his looks...Shivaay and Rudra are like those normal daily soap leads you see in every other show and Rudra is like a typical devar...Omkara's character had so many shades to it!So much could've been shown but now he has been reduced to a one dimensional plain brainless male lead...shivaay still is logical enough to accept the truth and see it the way it is...all that Jahnvi does is cry!!!hasn't she got a brain or something?!?!...it was fine initially but now Gauri ' s mera pati mera devta hai thing has become extremely irritating! It is fine that they wanted to introduce ChulKara track but it is not necessary to drag this endlessly and show that their friendship is like an unbreakable wall because when Om comes to know that Chulbul is Gauri he will surely forget what all she had done for him!!!and this not happening is just impossible I feel because Om is already blaming Gauri for everything!who asked him to marry her??? he did it himself!
Om who hates dishonesty is just lying to himself...what is he doing??
Why do they always have to ruin such characters?!?!
It has been so much of a Chulbul overdose that now whenever they show Gauri I feel weird!
& I have no words to describe Svetlana because now whenever she opens her mouth it is as if she is ridiculing herself with all her bizarre schemes!
All this is so sad...they have made the show really dark!
It is for sure that they want to reduce Omkara and Rudra to just being Shivaay 's shadow!
& if all this crap has taken 2 months then surely Om and Gauri will confess their love after we die waiting!

Logically speaking, I don't think either the PH or the Channel would attempt to decrease the popularity of any of the characters of DBO, what would they gain from it? At the end of the day they are in the 'entertainmemt business' and their main goal is to make profits from all their ventures. I believe they gave Kunal a separate show because they wanted to cash in on his popularity, they knew the fan base that his character had amassed.

However, in my opinion, their execution of this plan is what bombed and led to such a crappy storyline. Those who have watched previous shows of Gul would know that all her stories are similar in nature. DBO too started on the same note but they got some flak for trying to sell 'Ishqbaaaz' in a new packainging-maybe that got them to change the storyline but they hadn't prepared for it thus this monstrosity in the name of DBO. Also, Ishqbaaaz was established at the time DBO was launched so they left majority of the storylines with the parent show-prinku's wedding and all-although she's related to OM. I feel they were unable to decide how to divide characters and storylines between shows, so the parent show ended up with more drama and tracks. They also lack resources; I read somewhere that the writers for both the shows are the same-if that's the case they need to get a new team for this show.

DBO has no story, it's more like a random series of events strung together. Though they have a stellar star cast, the PH needs to get it's act together. The show has so much potential If only they come up with a decent storyline! This show can do wonders, shrenu and Kunal are brilliant actors, I hope they get their due! I doubt that though, the PH is launching a new season of one their most popular shows and I fear DBO will suffer :(

They should have thought of a proper storyline and which characters would appear in which show before DBO went on floor. I really feel bad for us fans and the actors who have to act in such a non-sensical show, the PH alone is to be blamed for this debacle!

It's golden post.I had lots of hopes with this spin off but I m disappointed.Feels like Svetlana is lead n Om has been used as fillers.There is no growth in his character.They show him mindless n arrogant guy.Who doesn't hv enuf brain to take decisions.

Om was to b shown angry,dark lead but it doesn't mean such male lacks in brain department.

I m so much frustrated with Svetlana character infact it ruined my excitement for Kaali track.she is unbearable
