Timeline confusion

So at the start, the timelines of ishqbaaz and dbo were interlinked and in sync..can some viewer of the both the serials explain about timeline situation right now..means is this serial running in future, or in past or have completely different characters in parallel universe (or indepedent)..

so like for example: snow white and the huntsman and huntsman winter wars are interlinked (but it was a spinoff movie with second movie focussing on huntsman and his love interest and not on snowwhite)

Star wars rogue one is kind of a prequel/spinoff to.star.wars.4 as they wanted to expand on rogue and death star plans..

Walking dead has a spinoff..where the other characters are in completely different geographic location and the links between them are very rare.

A justice league limited vs justice league action have almost same characters but the difference is such that no two charaxters have same relationships as in other show..(but that cant be termed as spinoff as they are two completely different serials)

So there are different kind of spinoffs. So i wanted to ask..what kind of spinoff is dbo? Because i am bit confused here..mata rani jagran is happening in the same home where marriage celebrations are also going on? Sso anika and others have met chulbul?rudra of prinku marriage track is the same rudra of freezer real svetlana track (are these events happening parallely or in parallel dimensions?)..do ranveer kamini mahi daksh know about another supervillain fake svetlana,(and probably the most serial killer one)?buama suddenly disappear in ishqbaaz?

Honestly if these things are not happening in parallel dimensions then also i dont want characters to mingle much (because that would defeat the whole purpose of spinoff)..so no shivaay scenes (keep him in the office)..ignore pinky anika and ither members as well..as much as possible..but if the timelines are sync then not using them.is creating a big loophole..prinku is om real sister..and if viewers remember it was prinku and om (not rudra and sso) kaand that bring acp into picture..so where exactly is om?[ If the timelines are linked]

DBO and IB two different shows with different storyline and tracks. They are not have any connection. DBO have from IB TejVi family as leads. Vievers who don't watch IB can watch DBO and dont have any confusion same with IB. They are mention some things sometimes (like Rudra said about Chulbul in IB or Jhanvi said about Prinku's weeding in DBO) but shows and storyline different.

Yes agree..but mentally its very hard to switch off switch on..especially if some of the characters overlaps and one watches or want to watch both the shows...means that is always a risky proposition with spinoffs (if they run parallely with main shows)..ususally spinoffs (whether serials or movies) comes after main show ends..only walking dead spinoff comes to mind but that show has one big advantage that the characters are completely different plus it is based on a completely new geography and the main show charscters have been discussed rarely..

But i will again give it a try..

for me only thing that irritates me quite a few times that both of shows are in oberoi mansion and still basic characters are absent like Om and jhanvi were not in prinku's wedding,

100 true.for very very important things ( like a daughter wedding/sister wedding)..they can overlap these characters..otherwise it looks very odd..
