I get the point of the scene was for her remember her wedding, but it was gross during the wedding sequence and its still gross now. The writers need to stop because it's pretty difficult to romanticize blood.

They should have shown she's sitting down and he cuts his finger he's up and his blood falls in her maang directly... There a similar scene like this in the movie "Mujh se dosti karoge" , where Rani is sitting down and praying to God and Hrithiks blood accidentally falls in her maang...
