Who told rudra not interested in business he is very much interested and he is sharp enough to run the business and if you value so much Rudra's disinterest in business why not apply the same reasoning for Om. He clearly told he is not interested in business and is happy being an artist so his field or interest should be encouraged not to be demeaned as side Job. If he wants to focus completely in art then it's his wish.
Your cousin and those TV actors manage business as their choices not forced upon them. If many manages business along their choices then there are many who solely perform in the area of their interest and make their name in that fully focused in that goal.
I would rather see Om as flourishing Artist and complete family being proud of Om's choice than joining family business for sake of it.

omkara already had kept his first foot in business field, he went to barelli 4 business deal not to attend a workshop. i only gave a suggestion not said omkara had to join business.

So they forgot they themselves said that Om is a millionaire in his own right, and then suddenly he had to crack a deal in Bareilly to get 100 Crores to pay off Svet.

One has full rights to choose one's career. If Om wants to now be part of the business that is fine. But he doesn't have to be forced into it. Maybe coz it is a family business him contributing is fine. In fact so should Rudra. But if Art is his passion and even his profession, he should by all means continue with it. Just like not everyone who's from the Art's field have their kids joining the same profession, or politics have their kids joining politics. Not all business people need to have children joining business.

I never understood those "Nikamma" rants of Tej! Success is not measured by what your chosen field is, it's by how successful you are in your chosen field. Om was at the top of his chosen field as a sort after artist! So he is a big success. How he became a "Nikamma" just coz he didn't join the family business is beyond me?

Oberois are very rich, for them a person who earns only 30-40 crores a year is a non earning person, that amount is something which they just earn in timepass, a person could be considered earning if s/he earns more than 300 crores a year so by Oberoi standards Om is a nikamma (earning probably less than 20 crores a year)

Now again Om has already become a businessman, he has cracked a deal in Bareily (which neither Tej nor Shivaaye have shown to be done), he is always dressed in formals (only proof in IB/DBO land that a person is involved in business) and even Rudra told him that "ab aap bahut bade businessman ban gaye ho)

I prefer Om as an artist than businessman as if all Gul's male leads are reserved for only 1 job that is businessman while for female leads only PA and maids jobs are reserved. If Om turns a businessman then what will the difference between him and other Gul's heroes? I would prefer Gauri to turn businesswoman of designing clothes instead with Dandi's help.
