Writers, I understand making Om question his sexuality is funny. It also adds another dimension to his struggle and path towards Gauri. But why do we have to treat being Gay as something to be ashamed off? Rudy was sweet , supportive, Hilarious and funny...but at one instant He says that he will hug Om but from far away...umm...what the Hell? do siblings of different genders don't hug? are you implying that gay people have incestuous feelings towards their own siblings?? like what the heck does that statement even mean?? 😡
The Mulls:
So Omie and " Chulbul" spared on ideologies...good stuff...but I really like the fact that he is remembering and thinking of Gauri so much more. No matter how much that non marriage didnt mean to him...no matter how much he hates Gauri or how much he wants to forget her...he just keeps thinking of her...Methinks The Dude doth Protest too much 😆
Inside this cloak of hardness and uneffected Om, there lurks the ghost of Old Om who said that Marriage and Vows meant something to him...its a big thing...even of it is done under duress...those rituals have some meaning to them...and unconsciously these beliefs are asserting themselves...not forcefully, but slowly and surely they are taking over his thought process once again...I wonder why 😉
And Gauri, she has put her Hero, her savior Pati on a pedestal...her constant (annoying) references to Pati Parmeshwar and her care and love for him...they are not truly for Omkara the man, its for Omkara the hero and saviour...Hopefully, the writers will have Gauri come out of this Hero complex she has going on for Om and see him as a man, rather than a Statue of a perfect God or Godess.
