I am not Gay phobic so I am not that concerned for that angle. Frankly it is NOT a gay angle. It's just that two people can connect even without knowing anything about each other. In this case Gauri knows who Om is but Om does not know who this ChulBul is. At this stage he feels greatful to him for interevening when his Mother was in distress. So he is giving him special treatment. Also, Svetlana seems to hate him (which is what she wants Om to think), so that gives Om even more reason to favour Chubul.

This is called a "Comedy of Errors". It was used in Shakespeare a lot. (My undergraduate degree was in English, so I know this for a fact). This is a very well honed technique. So if people think this is some "random" idea of the CV's then think again. It is actually a legitimate style of story telling. What happens in a comedy or errors is there is either a "mistaken identity" or a "disguise" scenario happening. This will cause people to make incorrect judgements, or become attached to someone without knowing who they really are! Who they REALLY are IS the problem. When that is revealed then it will form the "crux" of the barrier between the two individuals. "Betrayal". Because for Om, NO betrayal will be bigger than someone who is either with Svetalana or helping her. When he finds out this fact, the barrier between Gauri and Om will seem insurmountable.

The disguise will be one part of the issue. Because that is fooling someone. But when he finds out that Gauri's REAL job was not to be Svetalana's helper but to be her SPY, then that will be the main issue. He doesn't trust her anyway. But ChulBul he WILL trust. Just when he forms an attachement to that person, he finds out it is Gauri. THAT is the moment I am waiting for!

@PNalina:

While I understand what you are saying, under the circumstances there was NO way that Om would meet Gauri as herself and fall for her, or even like her or become close to her. That was not going to happen. He will not "fall" for Chubul. (At least I don't think). But he will form an emotional attachement to this person. Only to be betrayed when he finds out he is actually a SHE and she is actually Gauri!

Have not seen the episode so I can't comment on BW songs. But that song Deka Hai Peheli Baar? I don't like that song much anyway, and I don't know how that suits this? They should play some painful soulful tune. Their love story is a painful one. You know Daard E Ishq type? They should reflect that in their scenes. That's why I like "Sathiya". That song has such a painful undertone to it. Just like Om. It suits his story. They should have just played "Sathiya". My personal POV.

Watch today episode. It is superb. And I think bw song was purposely played as it was scene between two guys om and chulbul. So cv is trying to make it entertaining instead of romantic because it will look awkward if they play soulful song 😆

I only want to tell one thing before love story om need to be emotional attached to Gauri which he can't be if gauri is gauri. Because he hate her. So considering the om character he need to first see Gauri as person. And chulbul is doing this Job. Unknowingly chulbul is making special place in om life. This track is good and entertaining and also it will lay the foundation of rikara love story.

we though its a spin off. this is technically a new show. it needs its fun moments and at least gauri is not crying all the time. i am enjoying the show. its fun and light hearted. it will get deep and serious eventually bt for now lets all enjoy i am loving the songs included. for me this should would be perfect if they focused abit more on rudra. so what if souyma is not in the picture give us a rudra centric track

They could have shown Svetlana hiring Gauri for keeping an eye on Om. Honestly all that hate thing didn't need to be created in Oms mind, the whole Barrielly track was unnecessary and very filmy.
Gauri was dressed and decorated like a Christmas tree in the first two weeks of her entry running away from that KT.
The songs look filmy and come on Om is actually suspecting his own sexuality.
Om right now doesn't even knw it's Gauri and we r saying he's having feelings for her. Om needs to be in love with Gauri the girl not Chulbul a guy.
Gauris disguise is so funny and today Wat was she wearing they r making a complete fool of her.
Also wats with that language. Nothing about this track Seems ok and if they don't rectify it at the right time then am sure Gauris track will suffer the same fate as Ishanas track ( the whole Bela & Mala thing ).
