Hola all my fellow Shrenu fans and EBPians.
Nice to see many here. Shrenu got us all together.
Coming to DBO, it was awesome to see Shrenu cast opp Kunal and have been watching IB from the early days. He is very underrated and a good actor. Good jodi.
The first week of DBO has been... full of many jaw dropping moments for me. wow... the first episode was like... watching a movie from the 80's, a masala pot boiler. It was only the actors who saved the day. Also trying to draw too many parallels between Anika and Gauri on day one. Loved the intro music of Om at Bareilly. He is stone singh oberoi or SSO as Shivaay is known, his bade bhaiya. Om was never like this, his family..his papa has made his stone hearted, so cold and unfeeling.
Like Anika who broke the car's windshield of Shivaay, here Gauri takes a bulldozer to Om's Merc. ouch.. ouch.wonder what weapon Saumya is going to use on Rudy.
Kaali Thakur and his deeds or misdeeds are painful to watch. Poor Gauri is smart as a whip though she is on the receiving side. OM saw Svetlana his fiancee in her...when he first saw her at Kaali thakur's (KT) house... Svetlana his father's mistress now his fiancee... for those who have not watched IB. Om has to pay off his fiancee 100 crores and is in Bareilly to crack the land deal for bade bhaiya. He showed his sensitive artistic side once..when he called his mom Jhnavi and told her that her kids needed her. He shares an amazing bond with his brothers and with Rudy always teased SHivaay about Anika. Missing him so much in IB with all the wedding tamasha going on.
Gaurika scene in the jungle..their talk was good and need more of that. Right now, it is all building up to painting a loose woman image in Om's mind.
Gauri is smart, loyal, fearless, devotee of Shivji, chulbuli and beautiful. She looked gorgeous in the wedding outfit. As for KT and his bros.. the depraved monster... 3 husbands to one woman. No wonder KT's wife killed herself, if she faced or underwent what Gauri would have undergone in the hands of those monsters. sure the pandit has done it before (the shaadi what else.).. could not get my head wrapped around this. No wonder KT wants to kill her as he can't afford to have his truth exposed.
No har haraike from Gauri and waiting to hear other such words from her soon. Outdoor coming to an end and it is off to the OM(oberoi mansion)... Gauri has been through a lot these past few days n her wedding lehenga is made of cast iron, I tell you, not a wrinkle or stitch or tear in sight. 😆😆
Also waiting for the shaadi tomorrow and OM leaving her behind like a piece of lint...fluff... cruel and insulting. Waiting to see the stuff Gauri is made of.
OTT first week with medieval settings and lord of the manor.. feudal KT. Like the off screen of Shrenal and they are cute. let us see what DBO has in store for us.
A rather late review of the show. Good luck to the cast and crew for the success of this show.
